Indian cricket team captain and goodwill ambassador of the Indian Army, Mahendra Singh Dhoni today reached Ladakh as a part of his two-day tour and inaugurated a newly-constructed Army ground here.

Dhoni was the chief guest of a friendly cricket match played between the Indian Army team and a team of ladakhi locals here and inaugurated the ground, which became the highest cricket ground in the world.

@Ray- Thoroughly agree with you there sir, it seems the trend of awarding honorary titles and posts to members of the civilian populace has taken on a whole new dimension these days, at this rate it won't be long before Madam Mayawati is given the title of honorary field marshal!
