They are 2 different ships, 2 different missiles, 2 different days, 2 different parts of the sea, in 2 different times. The first one is just during a sunset. The second one looks like it is morning because the water looks calm. The seas are different because of the water colour. It is possible the first picture is far away from the coast while the second one is closer to the coast, maybe that explains the water colour. Both tests were carried out in perfect weather conditions.

The first picture is pretty good. It looks like the picture was taken just before the booster rockets kicked in so the missile looks like it is suspended in thin air.

Both of them are HHQ9, the warheads are same, and the fogs of Vertical Cold Launch are same as well.

One ship is real battleship, the other is an weapon experiment ship.

all of them are real photo
Actually they are both fake. You can tell in the first photo by the listing of missile. It can't start at an angle until after the rocket motor has begun to power its flight. The 2nd is a fake because the ejection system is not solid fuel, far too much white billowy smoke.

All Vertical Cold Launch system has an eject angle.

drag to 2:10, HQ9 land launch, also has much smoke.
Verticle launchers launch vertically, not at an angle. Your video at 2:14 shows what I am saying perfectly. At 2:10 you will also see that it doesn't emit solid booster white smoke as seen in the 2nd photo before it is finished ejecting. You just proved my point.

According to me the first launch is real.

In the 2nd photo it looks like none of the silos are open. There cannot be a launch without an open silo, unless the smoke covered a second set of silos.

It is possible the launch failed, which can explain the smoke.

Or Chinese ejection systems are very smokey, perhaps one of the first launches of the missile.

You just contradicted yourself... if the ejection systems are smokey, the first picture which you vouch for as real would have more smoke.

That's why I said the test in the second picture may be one of the first launches or even a failed launch. Unlike the 2nd picture the first has no discrepancies. The smoke could be because something burnt out.

That smokey ejection system comment was more as a joke.

the last order of S300 was placed in 2005 . CHina placed the order because

1.S300 was very cheap at that time, even compared with HQ9.
2. Chinese factory could not feed the appetite of PLA at that time.

more launch photo
Why do you Chinese keep posting all these fake pictures? Isn't it obvious to you it is fake? The missile is far bigger than its launch container. Another photochop by 50 cent Army.
