Hong Kong is the ideal example of the Greed embracing the Chinese mindset.

Social responsibility seems to have been abandoned by the Government and its cronies who are the land sharks turned billionaires.

Is Hong Kong moving towards social unrest that would shake the China World?

What is Beijing's answer to this in their "Guided Democracy" called Hong Kong?

Will the social unrest, if not controlled, have a repercussion on the Mainland?

Or has the social unrest already gripped China?

I wish the Brits had held firm and continued to hold Hong Kong in perpetuity. HK under Britain is a far better proposition that HK under China. Too bad the they signed only a 150 year lease with the Qing dynasty for the Kowloon peninsula than a perpetual cession like the Hong Kong island. In principle, British could have held onto HK island, while Kowloon reverted to PRC, but it would be little more than a worthless rock.
