A very best for new year to all of our DFI members from China and their families as well. I get to enjoy the ceremonies every year with my Chinese friends in Canada. Wish you and your nation a peaceful and prosperous year.

Stamps of Dragon Years - 1988, 2000, 2012

and Ãœber Alles Vaterland
I like the stamps, why the emphasis on dragon in your culture. Do you know how, I can buy them on First Day Cover. I am restarting the stamp collection hobby? What do you call your country of birth Motherland or Fatherland?

French stamps of Dragon Year

Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao

Dragon used to be a royal symbol. Chinese ancestors may have created the totem based on combination of animals galore - perhaps including snake, phoenix, deer, lizard, fish... It's the master of sea, and brings rain and thunder so people worship almighty dragon in years of drought
