So Army using two types technique to hook up the ropes
1- in the 1st pic ropes were secured to multiple anchors, so theoretically a single failure, even the boom itself, should not have resulted in complete detachment from the helo.
2-where in the 2nd pic they did not using multiple anchors for the ropes & nothing hooked onto the door frame
So it's clear ..in 9th Jan they used the 2nd technique ..& it's break due to heavy load

Poor quality control, The company supplied that specific part need to be in limelight ..
Sir is it possible to get what is the spec the boom was to handle from the spec sheet..

In the video we see the second dhurv dropping paratroopers 1 after the other. Is that standard operating procedure to have 3 men on the line at the same time?

On the two means of hookup to the boom mentioned the second picture still has the backup contact for the line but it's not connected .. Is that also part of standard operating procedure that was changed for some reason? That's operating safety issue and not material defect

Hopefully the soldiers get back on their feet

So it was surely not "overloading" which caused the mishap. Though it's not the same boom which broke. It's on the tail side. Three soldiers hanging with gear.
Perhaps someone didn't do inspections for fatigue or Maitenance properly.
Have u ever heard about centre of gravity..???
That time they were slithering from edge of the heli
But this time it's centre of heli ..& also the rope is attached to roof
Everything is physics:cool3:

Thats the rear side where the rope is tied in this picture. In the one where the mishap happened, the boom was on the side door.

View attachment 22554 Best pic of Rudra ever I SeenView attachment 22555 View attachment 22556check out this pic..what they trying to do :hail::shock:
Pic from army day 2018

Sir the pic with the side rope has one solider holding the rope down and one up with only one soldier on the line.

The load carrying pic has a centerline point under the helicopter

The pic with 3 soldiers is from a different load point on the helicopter.. not the boom

Facts is better than no fault on humans.. it should be easy to find the load spec for the boom from the GSQR of the helicopter.. Is it possible to post it in the form??

Attack helicopter Rudra first time in Republic Day parade

NEW DELHI: Indigenously-developed weapon system integrated helicopter Rudrawill make its maiden appearance in the Republic Day parade on Rajpath on January 26, Indian Air Force officials said.
The flypast by the Indian Air Force on the Republic Day parade will involve 38 aircraft, including 21 fighters, 12 helicopters and five transporters, Group Captain Rahul Bhasin told reporters.

The Ensign formation of the flypast will include a Mi-17 V5 helicopter carrying the ASEAN flag to commemorate the summit meeting of India and the block of South East Asian countries to be held here on January 19-30.

"The flypast will be divided into two blocks. The second block will start with Rudra formation comprising Advanced Light Helicopter MK-IV WSI. This is the first time this aircraft is being showcased in the Republic Day Parade," Bhasin said.

Other formations will involve C-130 J, AEW&C aircraft escorted by two Sukhoi-30 MKI, Tejas Light Combat Aircraft, Jaguar, MiG 29 Upgrade aircraft.

The IAF tableau will be themed on "Indian Air Force encouraging indigenisation", while the tri-service tableau will be themed on "veterans are asset to the nation'.

The IAF march past contingent will include 75 musicians and three band majors led by junior warrant officer Ashok Kumar Nagar.

"We will pay 15 patriotic and martial tunes on the occasion," Nagar said.

The IAF band will also mesmerise the audience at "Beating the Retreat" ceremony following the Republic Day, by its compositions and use of African drums.

A special tribute will be paid to the Marshal of Indian Air Force Arjan Singh who passed away in September last year with a tune "Great Marshal" employing African drums, Nagar said.

^^ Maybe they are getting it confused with LCH? Many people are mixing LCH with Rudra WSI. Or maybe its is tableau form?

I've had it with Indian news media. Just a little while ago ABP news channel was showing a "documentary" about Indian artillery and they were calling BM-21 the Pinaka. The narration was taken, word for word, from that discovery documentary they made when they shot Mission Army. Indian news media is irredeemable with their criminal neglect of military facts.
