Gwadar port: No Jobs for locals?

THE right of operation of the Gwadar Port has recently been given to China. At the national level, many people have appreciated the deal because they believe that China can operate the port more effectively unlike Singapore.

However, the people of the province were not taken into confidence by the federal government before it took this decision. The port should be operated with care and local people should be taken into confidence and given priority in appointing staff at the port.

As a result of this policy, the port will have a positive impact on the economy and will open new vistas for trade and industrial progress in the country.

next govt just need to extract the gold

India didnt take back Kashmir in 71 even when it could have easily(since we thrashed you badly by forcing 1/3 of your super dooper pooper Army bend over and submit to Hindu India) and there was no "Zia warning" at that time.

Chinese bring their own people on such projects as Chinese are very cheap labour as also to provide employment to the Chinese.

Pakistani are good at being terrorists only. Pakistanis would lack skills and trained manpower to build and operate ports. Pakistanis can be employed for port labour, guard and sentry duties only.
