Surprising finding by Devesh Kapur, a political science professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Sikhs and not Gujaratis are likely to have the most anti-Muslim prejudice.

well im online and no i dont commment about EVERYTHING - in fact most of the pure tech i stay clear of - only if theres some strategic component - but i sure hope on this forum we can distinguish between the moderate muslims ( most indian muslims are especially in the south ) and the unreasonable fanatics ( mostly elsewhere )

History is rarely forgotten, among people on the ground, no matter what people say on online forums for wanting to appear politically correct. Seen it all over.

If I am not mistaken Devesh has a slight speech impediment, I saw one of his lectures, he is a super smart guy.

It is not surprising for me to see that US Sikhs are the most anti-muslim community. And one of the most overlooked reason is because many Sikhs face discrimination from others because they are mistaken for muslims.

^^ Actually such things increase empathy for the plight of the other and not anti-pathy.

I don't think Sikhs would have increased empathy for muslims after such things occured, I am assuming you are aware of the historical love between the two.

"Love" ought to have been in double quotes...lolllll

Anyway that is what I'm saying -- that historical wrongs as perceived by one community are rarely forgotten and all it needs are small vents to boil over.
