Some of my folks are from Jorhat!

You could do well to let us know about Assam and why the NE people feel alienated.

It is time that people not from the East are educated about the reality of the NE and East.

It is time for the others not say that the NE and East are not joining the 'mainstream' but to tell them how the 'mainstream' should embrace the NE and East to make them feel that they are in the mainstream.

I absolutely agree about the idea of educating people about the North East. Besides since this is a Defense Forum, people should hold the NE even dearer as our new defence policies and our modernization plans are focusing towards the north east..
