That poor fellow went down fixing the bounderies of India with China in which he was not entirely wrong.....

Like many other historical figures of India he thought diplomacy is a bluff that can be carried without the backing of [military] power...

Diplomacy without power is but bluffing..
I hate leaders who do not have touch with reality and live in their own la-la land. And he was one of them. We need leaders with Vision and realism both. Nehru was a foreign educated High Classed prick.

I hate leaders who do not have touch with reality and live in their own la-la land. And he was one of them. We need leaders with Vision and realism both. Nehru was a foreign educated High Classed prick.
Mr Dharmpal, a distinguished Indian social worker (whom Nehru Jailed when he wrote a letter to him in the aftermath of 1962), in an article observed following in respect of the Indian English educated class :

" from about 1830, the British began to establish a new knowledge elite in India. This elite had to be brought up on a very selective British educational and cultural content. This elite in time created various sub-elites; and thus, over 4–6 generations, the new literate and scholarly India mainly knew and believed what they had been taught by this selective British system. It is true that some of the brilliant ones amongst these elites began to treat themselves as equal to the British of similar education; and when the British tried to put such persons down, some of these brilliant Indians turned critical and hostile. It is in this context that a prominent governor of Bengal wrote in 1875: 'No doubt the alumni of our schools and colleges do become as a class discontented, but this arises partly from our higher education being too much in the direction of law, public administration and prose literature, where they may possibly imagine, however erroneously, that they may approach to competition with us. But we shall do more and more to direct their thoughts towards practical sciences, where they must inevitably feel their utter inferiority to us.'

I suppose, it can be assumed, that when even this teaching of practical science did not fully serve the purpose the next
change was towards the teaching of the simple version of the western social sciences; and, after that, to equally simple
versions of the western philosophy; and later to the particularly literal brand of Marxism, which to a greater or lesser extent has
been affecting the thinking and assumptions of our educated elite during the past half century. "

Nehru was the product of this English education which was and continues to be a fraud on the Indians. "Strategy" is one of the practical Sciences as mentioned above wherein Nehru did feel let down in spite he thinking himself a British by having affairs with English ladies.

Thats why Even after so much highler level of the so called English Education we struggle to create a Genuine Philosopher or a Mathematician or a Socialist or whatever the system is teaching.

The Nobel Nominees can be counted on our hand that shows how pathetic the System is. It is as if it is based on London or Birmingham and totally disconnected by ground Realities.

And the few which are created like that Idiot Amartya Sen are totally against Indian Nationalism. The system should be scrapped slowly and Gradually.

Thats why i have total support for the Politicians who engage in Petty Regionalism like Changing the Name of Cities like Bombay,Bangalore. At least they show an effort to make our system Indian.

Honestly even our Education system is crap and produces run of the Mill than the Innovators or someone who divulges the Path... How can it be good if it is totally based on Western Idealogy. You cannot win a Race in which the Rules has been designed to favour your competitiors

Someone Today made Doubts about Nalanda and Takshishila University. The Few genuine Indian National Heroes were all produced by these Indian Made Universitites.

Harshavardhana, Vasubandhu, Dharmapala, Suvishnu, Asanga, Silabhadra, Dharmakirti, Shantarakshita, Nagarjuna, Aryadeva, Padmasambhava (the reputed founder of Buddhism in Tibet), Xuanzang and Hwui Li., Chanakya,Charaka, Panini and so on.

Whom Would you Prefer Now?

Amartya Sen or Chanakya,Panini,Charaka,Chandragupta Maurya..

@shinoj

I tend to agree with you and was arguing so on the language thread here in forum before that was closed :

I was dumbstruck with two writings of Dharampla and felt sad why I could not read those earlier :

INDIAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY

The Beautiful Tree Indigenous Indian Education in the Eighteenth Century

both can be found here :
