Great historical documentaries

Star Media is a Russian production company producing maybe the best historical documents of today. Personally I think that these are better than BBC ones. Russians know how to combine artistic values with storytelling and history teaching.

The history of scandinavia is very varied, from Vikings to current "Nordic model" prosperity, I have not seen one good documentary. Swedes and Norwegians like to emphasize their Viking times and Finns their battles with Russia. Sweden was a power broker for centuries, later came German and Russian influence.

@jouni I have seen Scandinavian languages sounds very different from Germanic languages but still some basic words are very come like the Du for you used both in German and Norwegian languages. I saved them in my playlists. I will watch them later.
