Formidable Pakistan again

US, Pakistan beginning to look more like enemies - Yahoo! News

You know a friendship has gone sour when you start making mean jokes about your friend in front of his most bitter nemesis.

So it was a bad sign this week when the U.S. defense secretary joshed in front of an audience of Indians about how Washington kept Pakistan in the dark about the raid that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden a year ago.

"They didn't know about our operation. That was the whole idea," Leon Panetta said with a chuckle at a Q&A session after a speech in New Delhi, raising laughs from the audience. The Bin Laden raid by U.S. commandos in a Pakistani town infuriated Islamabad because it had no advance notice, and it was seen by Pakistan's powerful military as a humiliation.

The U.S. and Pakistan are starting to look more like enemies than allies, threatening the U.S. fight against Taliban and al-Qaida militants based in the country and efforts to stabilize neighboring Afghanistan before American troops withdraw.

Long plagued by frustration and mistrust, the relationship has plunged to its lowest level since the 9/11 attacks forced the countries into a tight but awkward embrace over a decade ago. The U.S. has lost its patience with Pakistan and taken the gloves off to make its anger clear.
Yo AJTR, what kind of idiots get to join the Pakistani military anyway? The kind that say - ass upfront, brains left behind?

Lets see, you train a bunch of serpents who bite you, fight them for a master who pays you, then take that money and buy toys from the master and then pick a fight with the master while the serpents are still kicking your ass, and the 10X stronger neighbour can squash you anytime?

I mean what kind of fools lead the Pakistani Army? Do they have a brain cell amongst the whole lot of them?

You take all that foreign aid and instead of improving your flea bitten economy, you spend it on fancy toys from the US.

F-16s, M109 Howitzers, Radios, P-3Cs, billions of $ of fancy toys which are all USELESS without American spares.

Instead of earning your own money by using that aid as a kickstart, your idiot generals went and lined their pockets and bought a bunch of useless white elephants.

And now those idiot generals are picking a fight with the only western country which is giving Pakistan money.

I mean, there is idiocy and then there are Pakistani generals. Do Pakistani generals take a special course in "kick your own a$$ with your own leg" strategy? Is that taught in Kakul?

Lets see...

ISI trains terrorists. Terrorists...oops freedom fighters kill ISI.

SSG trains terrorists. SSG then ordered to fight terrorists and gets humiliated. Both SSG and SSG(N). Lets see Army HQ attack, Lal Masjid, AFB attack - in each case objectives hardly met. In fact ex SSG guys turn out to be helping terrorists. Pakistani response - ISI kills journo who reveals the truth, Syed Saleem Shahzad.

Kickbacks in Pakistani Naval deal. French engineers attacked for not paying bribe. France breaks the legs of Pakistani admirals who organized the attack

Pakistani troops open fire at NATO. US fires back, bumps off 24 troops, Pakistan begs for apology, none received.

US comes into middle of Abbotabad, kills Osama, and then happily flies off. Later they traverse Pakistan to get to their navy, Pakistans impotent Army sits and watches. Pakistans AF is too scared to even utter a word.

You guys have a military that is a joke and is committing treason daily.

It is only good at fighting under equipped tribal militias, and has given over its fighting to the terrorists. In fact each time the Pakistan Army goes up against the terrorists, the latter are clearly better motivated and win.

All your generals are interested in, is building posh homes, sipping imported scotch (because Pakistan cant even make that at home) and having fools like you praise them for being "warriors".

Go on, keep falling for their con. Pakistan ka matlab kya? Phir gadha banaya, banne main kya..

Very interesting step!

Such a mass move in one stroke has not been seen so far.

A first in the history of the Army.
