haha we had this thread too here!

@aditya10r - mdcomputers is a trusted seller. can go safely for it. just beware of itwares.

BTW if you are open to buying used/seconds components I might help you. I trade in them a lot and rarely faced any issue. with the arrival of GTX 1060 and RX 480 now, GPUs like STRIX GTX970 / 960 / R9 290 TRI-X etc galore in seconds sales, in nearly excellent conditions!

first preference is amazon.in otherwise mdcomputers
i live in patna bihar
mdcomputers looks like a genuine vendor, but do compare prices on Amazon (IN) for similar configuration. Unit prices may be low on mdcomputers but they moderately charge for shipping, while you may get free shipping from amazon.

One of the issues I see with mdcomputers is that they don't insure the package in transit hence they may refuse to replace if anything breaks while in transit.

b

BUT games nowadays are becoming more cpu intensive and a quad core(true quad core) is a minimum

i3 6100 is hyper threaded and has better clock speed (and hence better core performance) compared to i5 6400. Only a handful of high end games can exploit all the four cores, most are limited to two cores only. A budget 50000 gaming rig having budget GPU won't be able to handle those games anyways.

For AMD fans, better wait for the next big release by AMD (AMD Zen) which will happen in the last quarter of 2016, otherwise you may suffer serious buyer's regret.

will have to check. but why do you require that? going to game above 1080p? isn't your rig going to be a budget-build? wont the CPU prove to be a bottleneck then? think on these lines too.
BTW I just got an offer for Gigabyte GTX 970 for 16k + shipping (33 months under warranty left), and an Asus Strix GTX 970 for 17.5k + shipping (warranty till April 2018).

Sir, GTX 1060 has just been released. You won't find a used GTX 1060. More ever GTX 1060 is a budget GPU. You won't find lot of people who are just going to sell it to buy another one.

so buying a core i3 6100 will not be a big problem..
then the money saved will be used in buying a better motherboard and a gpu

Sir, I beg to deffer.
Better core performance is more than better clock speed.
i5 is a better core as it has several instructions unlocked that are not available i3. At the same time some instructions in i5 run faster than than available in i3. Not to forget i5 has more cache.

yes; as @Dark Sorrow wrote, GTX 1060 is a new entry, and when people are selling their GTX 960s & 970s just to buy a 1060, you would not find a 'used' 1060. may be a couple, from sellers who may've bought it for cheap from abroad & selling here for profit.

if you consider upgrading your monitor, I could look for good deals.
in any case, when you decide the components, hit the PM button for me. i'll arrange for the GPU.
also, I recently built an HTPC in which half the components I sourced from seconds-deals only, including the cabinet. so if you want some like these, do LMK. save money, do lesser e-kachara. :D

I think you should go with i5. As you mention you play GTA which is an CPU intensive game its better to invest in an good CPU.
i5 will also be little more future proof when compared to i3.
My two cents, get i5 build your system. Don't invest on GPU at this moment as prices are expected to drop substantially in 2-3 months. Run your PC on iGPU and when price falls down buy GPU of your choice.

If you're primarily gaming, then pick i3-6300 instead of i5-6400 and spend the money saved on a better graphics card.

If only you lived in HYD, I'd have offered you my R9 290 for 8500 and GTX 970 for 9500.

If you can afford to do way with a dedicated GPU and instead rely on iGPU for a time being then you can get following configuration

For around 55000 INR (incl. shipping):
CPU: i5 6600K (unlocked)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool Gammaxx 300
Motherboard: Asus Z170-K(recommended) or MSI Z170a PC Mate (cheaper)
RAM: 8 GB DDR4 (2400 MHZ)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
PSU: Corsair VS650 (650 watts)
Cabinet: Cooler Master Force 500 (Black)
Monitor: LG 20 inch full HD

For around 42000 INR (incl. shipping):
CPU: i3 6100
Motherboard: Asus Z170-K (recommended) or MSI Z170a PC Mate (cheaper)
RAM: 8 GB DDR4 (2400 MHZ)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
PSU: Corsair VS650 (650 watts)
Cabinet: Cooler Master Force 500 (Black)
Monitor: LG 20 inch full HD

The first one with addition of a good enough GPU (and a better monitor) will allow you to play any heavy game till next 5 years at least. Both configurations will provide easy future up-gradation paths.

Don't go for Micro ATX. Bad choice.
