Local price is a bit less (by 150-200). This is the price from Flipkart

AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Black Edition FX-6300 = 7555
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Motherboard = 5950
2x4GB G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 1600Mhz = 6000

There is no on-board GPU in this MoBo or instruction set in the CPU. So make sure you use a dedicated GPU. A Radeon R7 260 with 2GB memory should fit in nicely (8k-14k range).

Am not planning to OC right away. If you do, then make sure you have an after-market cooler to replace the stock CPU heatsink. I would suggest 'Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO'.
Trust me Spend More on ram Get 2133 Mhz with lower CAS latncy .. gets better performance on AMD

or Try make the lowest response time in nanoseconds Check table for more info

Too late buddy! My system is up and running since the last 2 months.

Anyway, I have reduced latency from UEFI. There are some compatibility issues with 2133 Mhz and didn't want to take any chances.

My bro is rocking GTA4 at 1080 and anything more is not really required.

WD HDDs (Western Digital) are better than that of the Seagate's. So buy at least 1 TB HDD costing around ₹ 4000/- or 2 TB if it suits your budget.

No no, don't make mistake , 500gb SATA is about ₹ 3400/- and with only paying 400 to 600 you are getting double the capacity.

If you ask any computer assembler to give a quotation then most probably he won't tell you or quote about 1TB rates, since they have to sell their jammed stock of 500gb HDDs.

thanks
but amd processors have overheating problem+intel i5 is the latest gen processor more performance per core
That's why I asked for a good CPU cooler, anyways I was saying that costwise. If you like Intel then go for it.

There is no 960 Ti AFAIK. There is only GTX 960 and that honestly isn't very good compared to R9 380 or 380x. Try to get a 1060 or RX 480. I recently upgraded to a 1060 from 960 and the difference is quite huge.

Don't go for AMD processor; stick to Intel Processor since AMD seems to be far behind in performance.

Put more money on GPU rather than CPU if primary concern is gaming.

Then try to save up a bit more. GTX 960 at its retail price is a waste of money. Try AMD side such as R9 380, 380x and you can wait for RX 470 while will be releasing in two weeks.

That's a good card. But as I said, if you can wait for RX 470 release. It should provide much better performance at similar price.
okay.....+1 more thing is processor okay, and do i need a more powerful psu
