As an atheist myself, I find this desperation to connive and coerce (like month-end salesmen desperate to reach sales quota) quite hilarious! Is this desperation just to control the maximum numbers? Or something else?

The old saying goes - If you can't beat them, join them!

The Church, especially the Roman Catholic Church, alarmed at the dwindling numbers, to 'harvest' souls converted from Latin to local languages, so much so when I went to Church during Christmas, I remained mute and confused since I did not understand a word what the Pado Padre in our scnool boy language) was saying, but the remainder were in ecstasy and almost in trance.

This is the very reason I find the Church has lost it meaning and instead is only interested in increasing the flock and thus increasing their influence in local politics as also increasing their funds in the form of donations and offerings after the Sunday prayers.

    This would help understand

Best is the look alike ahsram of Holy trinity and the xian sadhus.....even I may mistake it for a Hindus temple, can't imagine what a rural gullible Hindu may do? :D

What these missionaries do to increase their fold! ;)

    :)

    Great photos.

Presume most of those photos would be from "fringier" Roman Catholic groups, although there's plenty of Protestants who are borderline Christian too.

The Vatican has always been quite pragmatic about folk traditions, which most Protestants strongly reject. From my understanding, as long as it's not sacreligious (which some of those photos are) RC's will let it pass.

Most/ All European Catholics practice some pagan stuff and, for example, South Vietnam Buddhist, and Animist, beliefs and (Haitian???) Voodoo are (or were in S.Vietnam's case) incorporated into the Church in their countries.

I am glad there are people who have understood their con acts, they know how important it is to save their religion from these thugs.

'Allah' for Muslims only: Malaysia's top court - The Times of India

Read the comments in above link by many hindu morons (apologists) who still haven't got the clue what Malaysian courts have done.

Just dont worry Missionary morons can attract some poor people using money education etc.

But any one who is educated will never accept Christianity's BS theory.

    Go to http://www.evilbible.com/

Btw if so, then we can declare Christians a sect of Hinduism.

Jesus was son of "virgin" Merry and Roman soldier Panthera(if Jesus existed ever). Production of adultery. :truestory:

PS- Before Rapid decline of Buddhism in India, Buddhists too were accepting Hindu rituals to make their religion more Hindu looking, as a result Buddhism lost it's separate appeal and got merged with Hinduism.

Hindu goddess Kali came from Buddhist goddess Tara.

Sorry buddy, what part of what I wrote do you consider deception? I don't get you...

Substituting Baby Jesus for Ganesha isn't going to decieve anyone.

Panthera :) You've done some research.

Roman Catholics and Orthodox churches would trace their histories back to Palestine 1 A.D. They've been doing pagan/ non Christian stuff for so long now that most (non Protestants) probably wouldn't know which practices are "authentically" Christian and which not.

I am not pointing that to you. :)

What I cant understand how 60% of total population make great deal on life of a single mystic. I prefer Islam over christianity, Islam is more logical than Christianity.

Is this Temple or church? The building's construction behind the chariot seems to be of church.

Actually it is the other way around.

Mainstream Hindu philosophy is lakhs of years older than our Buddhist canon which emerged as a distinct branch later.
