SRINAGAR

Army on Thursday said that at least four militants were killed in an ongoing encounter in Hafruda forests of district of Kupwara.

"Four militants were eliminated in an ongoing encounter with security forces at Hafruda encounter," defence sources said.

Sources added that during past two weeks, security forces came in contact with militants three times in Hafruda forests, however militants managed to give slip to security forces.

In the fresh encounter which started on Wednesday evening two army men of 21 RR were injured. They added.

On Thursday morning during ongoing search, four militants of were found killed, army sources said.

What is known about training of such militants?

They are recruited in Pakistan, After recruitment they are trained for 5 years or least 3 months, their course include survival, different weapon training ( AK, Pistols, Grenades, PKM machine gun, RPG, Making explosives, Communications and electronics ), Mountaineering, language and cultural training also..

What is known about training of such militants?
