Re: Flim About Portugal got banned in Germany
I actually think that discussing politics on the internet is insane, but I make one short exception: This video is far away from being impartial or non-manipulative.
There are numerous examples of manipulation like p.e. the retirment age - it is in Germany and Portugal 67 by law (the Germans adopted this retirement age prior the European financal crisis, the Portoguese adopted it later as reaction). 60-62 is however the effective retirement age in both countries - they are (probably intentionally) comparing apples and bananas.
In 2005 Germany wasn't capable too reach the deficit limitation from EU treaties, but the video (probably deliberately) ignores the fact that most EU countries (including Portugal, Greece, Italy, France, UK, etc.) didn't manage to do so.
