The man responsible for defeating the French and humbling a superpower died today at the age of 102.

    Much respect to this man.

    Salute to brave man.

Not only US, he also led Viet Minh force that defeated French in Battle of Dien Bien Phu and organized Viet Minh in late years of WW2 despite Japanese occupation.

I dont think liberation of Vietnam would be possible with out him.

He was a military genius and Ho Chi Minh was genius in politics.

He is one of the best Generals world has ever seen with extraordinary tactics.

From the military point of view, he was a pace setter!

    Salute to this brave guy.

This is how real revolutionary patriots look like: who actually fought for the independence of their country tooth and nail, bled for her in the battle and came out victorious. Unlike SOME who got the governance in inheritance.

Vietnam is a brave country. They have a history of being a nightmare of superpowers and global and regional hegemons.

1- Thrashed French (then colonial power) out.

2- Thrashed US out despite suffering severe casualties.

3- Kicked Mao's human wave army out ruthlessly with more than 80,000 PLA troops dead.

Despite all their weaknesses, that is a seriously enviable record.
