It has been made clear that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is about to form the next government with many exit polls projecting a clear majority for the alliances in the Lok Sabha elections 2014.

Four channels namely NewsX, India TV, ABP News and CNN-IBN put the NDA well past the halfway mark of 272. NewsX and India TV projected 289 seats for the NDA while ABP News gave it 281 seats.

The exit polls predicted that BJP loses in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, but in north India Narendra Modi was set to defeat Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Bihar.

Counting of votes in the 2014 general election would begin sharp at 8 a.m. on May 16, the Election Commission said Tuesday.

The first trends would be available from postal ballots, he added.

Exit polls have gone wrong earlier - famously in 2004.

Congress can do rigging as well as they are desperate and know they are gonna lose.

Re-Polling ordered in few places already.

In seats where winning margin is narrow rigging in few booths can do the trick, also booth captures and violence reported in UP, WB etc.

So yes, Dhongress might return or an idiotic set of regional leaders in a Third Front - who knows even a Sri Sri Kejrwial as a consensus candidate for Third/Fourth/nth Front !

Fingers crossed for an NDA-Modi win !

Will CEC Sampath, a YSR protege, be the Navin Chawla of 2014 ?

    Was Election 2009 rigged?
