Officers of the Armed Forces are considered by the mango people to be the epitome of Discipline, Honor, Values, Ethics, Nationalism, Efficiency and Righteousness.

For the majority of the times, these considerations are true and well deserved. In every emergency once the Armed Forces arrive, people sigh in relief that they are now in good hands. Almost every project that the Armed forces undertake are handled professionally and completed. Even % of corruption within the Armed Forces is the least compared to all the other professions...

So why does not retired Armed Forces officers enter into mainstream politics? Their image and credibility is already there! Their ability is the least questioned! Why don't retired Armed Forces officers take charge of the country's political scene and propel India to a better tomorrow?

To enter the mainstream politics, one has to be elected.

To be elected, you have to have muscle and money power.

That is not most military men's forte and inclination.

Do any politician in India have any of their sons serving in armed forces ? No,but in countries like Russia or USA it is the case.

Now important thing in India to get into politics you need the bucks and the honest army officer does not have that money.

General VK Singh tried see what they are doing with this man.

Over a billion citizens are famished of good governance in India... If someone like V K Singh reaches out to the aam aadmi, I do not think that the citizens would not respond!

Maybe V K Singh can join a new ethical political party already in existence? Or form a new one? If he gives a call, I think thousands of ex-army personnel would join him in the blink of the eye!
