n a major case of security compromise a junior officer of Indian Air Force was caught with sensitive information related to "tactical plans" at the Bagdogra airbase along China border. A Court of Inquiry into the matter by IAF has found guilty a Junior Warrant Officer in the case who was trying to sell the information for monetary gains. "The JWO was caught with a hard disk containing sensitive information that he was not supposed to have. It is a serious breach of security. A Court of Inquiry has found guilty a junior officer and action will be taken against the defaulter," an IAF spokesperson Priya Joshi said. "Prima facie the passing on of the sensitive information to somebody else seems to be unlikely. But the facts would be ascertained only when the Court of Inquiry is completed," the official added. The officials have also found that the sensitive information was available on all the computers despite strict norms being put in place to ensure cyber security. UNI MK GH 2227 NNNN
