Firing broke out near a school of Srinagar. Reportedly terrorists began attacking the army units while taking a shelter in school. This area is said to be sensitive as its a residence to VIPs of the state. Right outside the school are CRPF men who have cordoned off the school.

Some unidentified terrorists on Wednesday attacked a CRPF camp in the Bemina area of Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir. Two terrorists have been killed in the encounter, according to reports. Army has been denying that there was no infiltration and now Home secretary is saying both killed are Pakistani nationals.

I will rant again that every LOC incidence is done by terrorist army across LOC to send these lul vadey Pakistanis in.

IMHO, If government want Army to pull off they must ensure civilian safety first, This incident is proof of that it is not taken into measure..

In absence of Army, CRPF should have elite Cobra forces deployed in J&k with all needed material to support them in Urban areas, Where as Army will be an backup and will be deployed mainly over LOC..

Five paramilitary personnel and two militants are killed in a in a fierce gun battle outside a public school in Srinagar city of India's Kashmir.

Two unidentified militants fired near a public school in the Bemina area of the city, where a division of India's paramilitary force, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was deployed on Wednesday (March 13).
