    Election Projection Delhi 2014

I was just seeing a projection done on the election 2014, but the effect on Delhi was interesting.

It appears that Shelia Dixit remains the most popular, inspite of incumbency and the onion prices (it brought down Sushma Swaraj, if one remembers!)

Yet Modi remains the all time favourite for the PM's post in all States including Delhi.

In Delhi, the Am Admi Party will make a dent into the BJP vote.

Interestingly, MMS is the least popular person in all States.

Therefore, the issue is not the political party and its popularity, but what will play a major role is governance and leadership!

bjp should be cautious of aap.

even in AP lok satta party lead by ex CS jayaprakash narayana tore down many educated votes of bjp paving way for congress victory.some say its ysr reddy's plan

dont know even if AAP is a plan of congress to cut down educated votes of bjp

    Massive anti-incumbency wave against Congress:

    MCD - BJP (Municipal Elections)
    DUSU - BJP (University Elections)
    DGSMC - BJP (Gurudwara elections)

The expert seem to state that Dixit is the most popular and the AAP will steal BJP's thunder and Goel is no popular leader,

BJP's Goel is indeed not a popular leader (not even within his party) but no way Congress will win 32-37 of 69 Seats.

It is entirely possible that Congress might end up as the third largest party.

    I saw Goel on TV.

He just look like a Lala from Karolbagh and had no fire in him.

Hardly a type who will instil confidence of being a leader.

Even Rahul G shows more leadership than him!

Nobody knows who the ---- Goel is in Delhi other than maybe people in his constituency.
Kejriwal's AAP seems to have tremendous support in semi-urban locales, wouldn't be surprised if AAP turns out to be the main opposition party.

I maybe wrong, but India is tired of the stereotyped politicians spinning a web of lies and totally self serving.

India has been sunk to the pit's bottom and people are struggling to stay afloat.

I think the vast majority wants decisive leadership that delivers.

Therefore, these self serving politicians, who are lack lustre and without a personality will have a tough time to win this time around.

That is why the AAP is finding favour in Delhi since they have a cause and seem to be effective, at least, in putting their issues across.

How about kicking the ass of Goel and going ahead with Smriti Irani?

Delhi is far from BJP's hand until they sort out leadership issues within.

I dont think party politics play much role with the voters specially the student elections. I know many people who voted on personal contacts rather than on party affiliation.

I believe in a NDTV survey, ML Khurana of BJP was hailed as the best CM Delhi's had.
Congress has won Delhi 3 Times simply because of TINA factor, BJP's leaders are nothing to write home about.

It was rumored that once BJP selects NaMo as PM Candidate, he will push Smriti Irani as Delhi CM candidate. If Kiran Bedi joins BJP then she would be projected as CM Candidate..

Dont know what happend now as it seems Vijay Goyal is the candidate for BJP.

BJP has announced that the CM candidate will be decided after the elections. This was done to neutralise Goel who had rubbed many of the party leaders the wrong way.

Navojot Singh Sidhu could be the dark horse as SAD wants him out of Punjab.

I don't find any charismatic leader amongst the BJP coterie.

Is Smriti Irani a Delhi politician?

Maybe Sushma Swaraj would be a better choice for Delhi or Arun Jaitley.
