Regarding the aftermath/jaya's reaction- TN right now is in a very bad situation politically - the only options we have are between rowdy raj capitalists (DMK) and uselessly ineffective socialists (ADMK)

Anyway, none of this matters. Morons back here are content with the fat b because they are so disgusted by DMK (and rightly so) and so enthralled by her ammanomics(common people are idiots and of course they are gonna love welfare programs) and so the fat b will have no problem winning again in 2016. Are u sure if and when BJP comes to power on its own in TN would improve its ease-of-doing-business

Looking at current central BJP lead by modi i donot find anything which they have done that make ease of doing business in across India

on rather they have lost one-after another war with respect to oppistion

for eg land bill , now they have decided that states would prepare land bill and they would fwd it to president for its consent.this was long advoated by arun shourie when BJP came to power in delhi may 16 beause he knew bjp doesnt have numbers in RS and congi+commi+other state leadres wont allow it in parliamnet

They have streamlined several processes for investments. Most of the problems now faced by Indian economy is at state level. Hell even their reforms for labor and such is blocked by state level.

In short bjp is doing what it can , certainly more than what any other party in present day India.

I agree there is a dip in Tamil Nadu's business environment but the rankings which the WB has published, there is a lot of politics behind it. Why did they rank Gujarat as number 1 ? Gujarat is good but not great to be granted first rank. That itself shows this ranking is not completely reliable.

Lol. Dude, Gujarat had been no. one in ebi published by World Bank for decades now. Its nothing new. If you want smell conspiracy and live in a cuckoo land your wish. But if you want to reform and move forward, learn from this and decide why TN fell. After all, the same organisation had rated TN to be second best for ease of business just 5 years back only after Gujarat.

Tamil Nadu. There has been lot of shouts about this but TN contributes 15% of the total manufacturing jobs of India. Isn't it evident? Other states are developing but TN and Maharashtra are already industrialized.
