Defence research and development organisation fast-tracks infantry combat vehicle - Mumbai - DNA
.
.
The BMP urban survival kit (Busk), a state-of-
the-art infantry combat vehicle, has been
designed by the Vehicle research and
development establishment (VRDE) in a record
time of six months. It was handed over to the
Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre (Mirc) for
user trials in Ahmednagar on Wednesday.

A press statement issued by the Defence research
and development organisation (DRDO) stated that
the Busk was ideally suited to fighting terrorist
attacks.
It was flagged off at VRDE by additional director
general of mechanised forces, Major General RS
Chand.

"Fast track"?

Did they "build" that track? :D

DRDO used to have three tracks ...

1. Slow - really really slow.

2. Slower - almost stopped!

3. Hey? Can't you see I am sleeping?

Now they have a fast track too? WOW!

DRDO Upgraded BMP-2

According to the press statement, the Busk can be assembled and disassembled in a short span of time and is well protected against weapons utilised by terrorists. The unique features of Busk are its light weight advanced armour and high-strength fibre nets.
