This is sad and disappointing. Anjali Gupta was a whistleblower at IAF and should not have to end up like this.
MoD should be ashamed.

There have been MANY false complaints about Sexual harassments in the Armed Forces

A few were true but many are false and Motivated

In fact few months ago There was a news that when senior officers call female officers for Any official work in Their Room
THEY KEEP THEIR ROOM DOORS OPEN so that every body can see inside what is going on and no body can blame them

Armed Forces senior officers are very wary of false allegations of sexual harrassment because it immediately hurts their careers

Regarding sexual harassment (SH) or rape, most Indians have a mindset of "She is asking for it" or "It's her fault too" or at best "She is faking it/ lying". SH/ Rape victims are blamed, ostracized and exploited by the officials, police, politicians, the media and even their own family/ friends.
In this regard, Anjali Gupta's case is still unsolved and I am still not sure that her allegations were false.
