Wasn't it supposed to have been transformed into a museum, or is it the Viraat?

the eyes above the sky also recorded this sad moment of such an ex-combat vessel with a long and rich history...

Jun 10th , INS Vikrant heading her final destination-- the scrapping yard opposite the MDL shipyard (the last vessel of P15A class is in the Wet basin for the fitting-out)...

not really sure if this is INS Vikrant.

IIRC she was without engines or they were not in working condition since she has been retired long ago...and the ship in the pic without any auxiliary vessel surrounding it and helping her out seems impossible.

She was waiting there for high tide. When that came she was pulled on-shore.

it seems she has been towed out the Mumbai Navy station for quite a while and anchored outside the scrapping yard waiting for the Judgment Day..
is there some group trying to keep/Save this old vessel via the High Court?...

ya..there was.It went upto apex court. But they couldn't do much. Anyways IN did everything they could to save it... refurbished its interior to make it more appealing to potential investors et all but alas it wasn't to be materialized.
