The county Waxhaw is in is Union County. The county seat is Monroe. The late Senator Jesse Helms was from Monroe, which is pronounced MUN-roe. :-D

Indeed, those alligators know who will give them food. However, if the person who gives them food everyday falls into the water, that very alligator will waste no time devouring him.
