Counters the effects of high altitude sickness. But required more in Leh than munnar. Munnar ain't that high. Mister scooby is faking his reply. :pound:I think it has something to do with that activa :megusta:
Well not sure for other bikes but sure you need it for RE especially if you are going to ride in hills and there is a slightest chance of petrol going kaput ...bloody RE no fuel meter...:bs:

Ok captviagra81 :balleballe:

@aditya10r if you have altitude sickness or face hypoxia at very high altitude, Viagra is a genuine option to counter the effects. Although I'm not sure it was used in this case by our thala. I think it's a classic case of Freudian slip :pound:work hard play hard. No pun intended.

Ok now :focus:

@aditya10r perfect one for the himalayan rides just that way out of my budget where is that bloody beamer :frusty:

Honda Africa Twin Launched in India at Rs 12.9 Lakh, Bookings Commence

Also called as the CRF1000OL, the Africa Twin was expected to come to India earlier, during the second half of 2016, but the launch was postponed following after an earthquake damaged Honda’s plant in Hamamatsu, Japan in June 2016 – this affected Africa Twin production globally.

The Honda Africa Twin will compete mainly against the Triumph Tiger’s 800cc range, Suzuki V-Strom and the Kawasaki Versys 1000.

My Neighbour here has one. It's as tall as a horse. You just won't believe how tall these things are. Triumph should also bring their tiger series. I think that's a solid adventure bike too. You get it from 800cc all the way to the beefy 1200cc models at prices comparable to the Japanese four.

Triumph India dealers would happily import it if YoY choose to put your money down.

Alhough I would personally love to own an opposing twin...

Opposing twin and shaft driven beauty. Because well, inline engines and chains are too mainstream

Edit: reality check complete. Time to send my i10 to service and moan over its bill and accept these bikes are beyond reach :notsure:

0-60mph in 1.5 seconds for 10k usd. No other bike or car can get you that thrill. But this go kart from Canada can.

https://ca.motor1.com/news/145531/daymak-c5-blast-go-kart/

Quicker than a veyron, LF, H2 and s1000rr :lawl: while your arse being few inches from the road

Previously this was my Favourite four wheeled track missile

No doors, removable wind screen, 300bhp 550 kilos and most importantly old school chassis that lets the rear break loose and dance on the track. And this is the road going version.

Sadly this has been kicked off the TOP Spot by the go kart. Its position is temporary though because it's electric.

Triumph Tiger is already available in India. The dealerships in Delhi are offering special discounts for Royal Enfield Owners. :hmm:

There are a couple of newer adventure tourers coming on the scene as well with new models from Kawasaki and Benneli.
Kawasaki Versys is also a very capable machine.

Haven't seen a KTM Adventure in the flesh to comment though.

Have you seen the KTM Adventure at the dealerships? Looks to be pretty good. I have only one complaint against the 690 one though... single cylinder. Overheating issues.
My Himalayan overheats like a bitch in traffic.

Word is KTM will launch a dual cylinder soon in India. Waiting for it.

You could take a look at the Himalayan also. Works like a dream in the mountains.

But not really for daily commuting though. One could do it... because its pretty nimble.. but traffic has it overheating. Other than that, A very good motorcycle.

Also, Triumph is planning to launch the Tiger Cub in India.

Well i was so tempted with Mojo and himalayan at first but then waited for little long to get some user reviews and bang there comes so many complaints i read last week someone wrote a post saying RE Himalayan has 40 Manufacture defects

mojo with very less sales future leaks bleak for servicing but the bike also has faults foot rest like commuter bikes, Dual exhaust and the back sit little bit smaller plus there is no ABS..If these issues had been addressed Mojo is a very competitive Bike in 300cc Segment for adventure tourer..

Well after seeing your overheating quote of RE himalayan just wanted to check is it common problem with all single cylinder engines ????

Yeah mostly all high powered motorcycles with a single cylinder start overheating if driven too long in First gear.. like in traffic.

The new KTM duke 390 tackles it by having radiator fans which come on in traffic.. but sadly such innovation isn't present on the Himalayan.

Rich folks.. :hail: any BMW unless it's a scale model is out of question for me.

For city driving, have you considered the RE continental GT?

First Gear....ha ha ha missed that crucial data of the overheating information ..Well indian traffic congestion make little space to ride the bikes above 1st gear in few cities ..Luckily i haven't encountered such traffic jams ..
