even if they do, the Uighurs won't.

They are Muslim and Muslims don't take things lying down!

China is up a gum tree there!

They have gone to the extent that Muslim Uighurs cannot undertake fasting during Ramazan by order!

No self respecting Muslim of the world would accept that unless they are double faced and not worthy of being a Muslim!

Than why are the pukes still hanging with them ?

Thought the puke land was a shinning beacon of hope for Muslims all around the world.

And that's the worst part. Forget about integrating it within the region - the Chinese are systematically destroying tibetan culture. Its a genocide, and its happening right before our eyes...

You know many monks have committed self-immolation. Now I am not a Buddhist, but from what I understand, such actions really screw with the whole cycle of life and death for them - i.e. suicide is not only seen as something that affects them in THIS life, but in their future lives too...

But we shouldn't just "accept it" and move on... a great culture intimately linked to India is disintegrating

LoL, so what they gonna do with us? Bombing us and then lost all the their invests in the last 30 years. Childish. India is nothing more than a barking dog released by the US.
No one is going to bomb you as they have already bombed your population with investment. That has created divide between communism and Capitalism, between South and North, Rural and Urban divide.

Ray has rightly pointed all these in his post. You have become materially rich but very poor spiritually. Mao is of No use now. You will have to take shelter of Confucius or Lord Budha to be good global citizens.

Oh, we never worried about our muslim as much as you india do.

You know why, because we are providing some benefits to 2 important muslim countries: Pak and Iran, so they keep f**king your india's ass instead providing support to muslim in china.

About Tibet, they can do whatever they want to do in India as we know indians only get their big mouth. Words don't hurt anybody.

That's the whole point isn't it?

Are you ignorant or just plain stupid?
Pakistan and Iran, important Muslim countries, LOl.
Iran is Shia btw, Google what this means.(if its not censored)

, so they keep f**king your india's ass instead providing support to muslim in china.
Iran has no beef with India, so you're support ain't good enough apparently.
And Pakistan is still providing "support" to Uighurs, isn't it?

About Tibet, they can do whatever they want to do in India as we know indians only get their big mouth. Words don't hurt anybody.
Well you're apparent frustration on a forum suggests otherwise.

Another Tibetan sets himself ablaze in China - group

By Sui-Lee Wee | BEIJING | Fri Dec 2, 2011

(Reuters) - A former Tibetan Buddhist monk has set himself on fire in the mountainous region of Tibet, the 12th Tibetan this year to resort to the extreme form of protest in China, an overseas advocacy group said on Friday.

Tenzin Phuntsog set himself ablaze on Thursday in the Changdu prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region -- the first time that a self-immolation has occurred in the Himalayan plateau, the Washington-based International Campaign for Tibet said in a statement, citing exiled Tibetan sources.

The monk survived the incident and has been hospitalised, the group said. Accounts of the incident were posted in Tibetan on social networking websites such as microblogs and Facebook, it said.

The other 11 Tibetan monks and nuns, some former clergy, who had set themselves on fire since March this year were said to have called for the return of the 76-year-old Dalai Lama, who fled to exile in India in 1959, and for freedom for Tibet.

At least six of the incidents have been fatal.

On the latest incident, a government official from Tibet told Reuters: "We have not got any information about the case." Police in the Changdu prefecture declined to comment, saying they never answer questions from reporters.

The former monk was from the Karma monastery in the town of Chamdo, the International Campaign for Tibet said, citing a source, adding that other sources have told the group the monastery was under lockdown following a rumoured bomb blast at a local government building in late October.

The group's account could not be independently verified because foreign reporters are not allowed to travel to the Tibet Autonomous Region without permission. The Chinese government has yet to organise a trip this year. Such trips for journalists to visit the area usually happen annually.

For the Chinese government, the protests are a small but destabilising challenge to its regional policies, which it says have lifted Tibetans out of poverty and servitude.

FIRST VISIT

The Minister of Public Security, Meng Jianzhu, called on Tibetan Buddhist monks to "carry forward the tradition of loving the nation and Buddhism" during a tour of southwestern Sichuan province, where 11 self-immolations have occurred.

Meng toured Aba county in the Aba prefecture, the site of eight self-immolations, in the last week of November, and met security officers and Tibetan Buddhist monks, the ministry of public security said in a statement on its website on Thursday.

His visit was the first by a high-level central government official since the self-immolations started in March.

China has ruled what it calls the Tibet Autonomous Region since Communist troops marched in 1950. China's Foreign Ministry has branded the self-immolators "terrorists" and has said the Dalai Lama, whom it condemns as a supporter of violent separatism, should take the blame for the "immoral" burnings.

In March 2008, deadly riots against the Chinese presence spread across the Tibet Autonomous Region and Tibetan regions ahead of the Beijing Olympics, triggering sometimes deadly confrontations with troops and police.

The Dalai Lama, revered by Tibetans, has not condemned or condoned the burnings but said the desperate conditions Tibetans face under Beijing's rigid controls in what amounted to "cultural genocide" have led to the spate of self-immolations.

He denies advocating violence and insists he wants only real autonomy for his homeland.

Do you noticed Xinjiang Province is being divided into military district instead of prefecture... It is still this way after so many years... Anyway, Uighurs are Chinese national just like Tibeten Chinese and Han Chinese. My second grade Chinese teacher is ethnically Uighur, she is married to my P.E. Teacher who is ethnically Han... I don't see there is any problem between them... The ethnic tension is often exaggerated by foreign press. There is tension, but if the tension was so bad, you will see the entire Xinjiang province in flame. However, when my sister and mother were traveling in Xinjiang province few years ago, everything seem so fine. The people were very friendly.

Uighur and Tibetans are not Chinese, because Hans are Chinese and they are not Hans.

That apart, Xinjiang and Tibet are Autonomous Regions of China but that does not make them Hans.

Uighurs and Tibetans by culture, traditions, customs, religion, language and so on an are nowhere close to being Hans.

That your Han teacher married an Uighur does not come as a surprise since that is historically the Chinese made the 'barbarians' transmogrify to being Hans by marrying them, mostly by force. Then there are other ways that are adopted by the Hans, wherein they forced people to quit their culture, traditions, language and religion to forget their ethnicity and become Hans.

You see all this being done in Xinjaing and Tibet.

The CCP is trying to overwhelm these restive provinces with Han Chinese... But this policy is a double edged sword.

india is always the trouble maker, like in Kashmir.
And China is a non-violent peace loving nation as you want the WORLD to believe. Sorry but outside China we know what China is doing because media is not restricted and mediapersons are not asked to "shut up".

China is claiming air/land/sea of almost all of it's neighbours like Mongolia,Taiwan,Vietnam,Philiphine,Japan,Russia,Korea,Thailand,Tibet,Burma...... and not to forget India as well.

But again China is a peace loving country as Chinese CLAIM to be... just like it's another illegitimate adopted son known as Pakistan who also claim to be a peaceful nation and spreading it's "peaceful" missions in Kashmir,Afganistan,Xinjiang and ALL over the world.

"Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed."

So said Mao.

And so follows China faithfully!

China is currently in the Politics is war without bloodshed phase.

Ray, how many ethnicities are there in India?

Which of them are Indians, and which of them aren't?

Do they marry each other, or the marriages are strictly confined to the same ethnicity?

And what does it have to do with this thread?
There are many ethnicities and all of them are Indians. They do marry each other.
