Communal tension erupted in Malda

KOLKATA: Communal violence erupted in Malda this afternoon following a meeting of a fringe Muslim organisation in the area. The local police station at Kaliachawk was set on fire, at least 40 vehicles that included a dozen private vehicles, police vehicles and BSF vehicles, were ransacked after the mob turned violent during the meeting. The National Highway 34 was blocked for several hours while trains were also stopped near Kaliachawk, said police sources.

A Muslim organisation was holding a rally protesting against the comments made by the Hindu Mahasabha chief in Uttar Pradesh. When the meeting was underway, there was a public outrage and the mob attacked the police station. Subhabrata Ghosh, the inspector-in-charge of Kaliachawk police station and other police officers were injured when the mob attacked the police station . The police officers were soon outnumbered and they fled, said sources.

According to sources, a 24 year old villager was shot . The victim has been admitted to the Malda medical college hospital. Around 25 houses in the area were also ransacked. The situation was brought under control late in the evening after a huge reinforcement from Malda reached the spot .

Anuj Sharma, IG, law and order told ET, " The situation in Kaliachawk is now under control. We are collecting the reports of damages."

Curiosity took me to Mamta baneerjee official tweeter handle to grasp her reaction,was surprised to see that while she is busy greeting birthday wishes to kapil dev and Ar rehman no tweet from her on Pathankot terror attack nor Malda riots. Guys i know this place very well.And many illegal things also.They make bombs in their houses,They Are One of the biggest suppliers of illegal 9mm ammunition in west Bengal,They make desi pistols,They have factories to build this things and the funny thing is police knows everything like a small children here but they can't do anything because many cites political pressure.Police Are Not Allowed To Enter Some parts of the city.

Seems TMCongress has screwed the state, Mamta Banerjee has no guts to kick BD Muslims out of India, weak woman. After some days Bengali Hindus will start to leave WB and after that other Hindus might be kicked out of WB as Hindus were kicked out from the J&K.

In short J&K story is repeating itself in WB. Well done Bhadralok people !
