Hindu minority attacked in Kishtwar on Eid
Earlier Muslim intolerance in Kishtwar last month
the minorities were taking `Kalsh Yatra’ in Kishtwar town this evening for `Murti Sthapana’ at Shiv Mandir at Pushal when two youths of majority community objected to raising of religious slogans by the women at Sangram Bhata.
The people took strong exception to the behaviour of two youths of majority community. Some of the youths in the `Kalsh Yatra’ beat-up the boy Atil, a local resident of Sangram Bhata, who had objected to raising of the religious slogans.
In the meantime, youths from majority community also gathered and beat-up a youth from minority community identified as Ranmeet Singh Parihar, who was riding on his bike. They also tried to damage his bike but police swiftly took the motor cycle away to police station.
Police diverted the route of `Kalsh Yatra’, which culminated peacefully. Later, people from both the communities gathered outside Kishtwar police station.
Nationalist forces under threat in Kishtwar: July 2013
In Kishtwar a massive protest rally was led by Sunil Sharma (National Executive Member-BJYM) and Capt (retd). Hukum Chand (Ex Distt president) from BJP office Char Chinar to DC office Kishtwar. The protesters raised slogans against the Chief Minister and MoS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo.
He said that the police framed Sub Inspector Shiv Krishan Sharma in a fake case on behest of political master who are hell bent to defame the nationalist persons. He threatened to intensify the agitation in case police did not withdraw the case against the cop who had killed over 200 militants in Chenab valley. He said that National Conference Government is hatching conspiracy to defame the nationalist forces and added that the arrest case of Shiv Krishan Sharma in an eye opener in this regard.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that incidents of Kishtwar over the last three days have sent out a dangerous message and the minority community is feeling insecure inspite of its staunch nationalist leanings while those hurling pro-Pakistan slogans are holding the town to ransom. He said even though no offender should be allowed to go scot free, it is against the rule of justice that on the one hand the Coalition
Media is reporting it as clashes between two communities. If It had been muslims at the receiving end then all the sickular fights would have come down on TV debates.

2008 riots in Kishtwar engineered by Hurriyat
2003 Kishtwar riots
The police resorted to firing and bursting teargas shells to quell violence in Kishtwar town where members of two communities clashed and went on a rampage, burning and looting shops. An indefinite curfew had been imposed in the town, but the irate mob defied it and clashed on the streets. The Deputy Commissioner and the SSP reached the area only in the afternoon. Capt Hukum Chand (retd), president of the local unit of the BJP, was also injured.
Gunshots were fired on Hindu demonstrators from certain houses in the presence of the police.
An injured boy, Vikas Parihar, while speaking on telephone, alleged that the SDM beat up villagers who were taking out a protest march against the alleged inefficiency of the authorities in dealing with terrorists.
Reports said the situation came under control in the main town only after the Army staged a flag march and took up positions in the streets.
Communal tension had been brewing in the town since Wednesday when about 150 families, mainly Hindus, migrated to Kishtwar following a long siege of their villages in Pular area by terrorists who beat up the village elders.
The main thing is to increase the numbers of policemen. In all the above Kishtwar riot cases, police are outnumbered.
The second thing is to give the police more powers, reduce political interference. Police are afraid to act because the local politicians can hound them and ruin their careers.
Ethnic cleansing in Kistwar too....
Yup seems like, however, this time it will not happen according to will of muslims. A large number of Hindus have been injured and their properties destroyed. Police came in the end, they fear cases will be lobbed against them if they protet Hindu minoritries and thrash Islamic goons. But Hindus will stand their ground as these Hindus Kishtawar are not Pandits of the valley who had no back-up due to their own treachrous attitudeHowever, secularism prevails in a perfect fashion, that's the priority of the state (country) ruled by Con-gress.
Assuming the below given report to be authentic, then Hindu minority has faught back:
any news ?
How many Kashmiri Muslim migrants in Kishtwar and how many Dogra Muslims in Kishtwar ?
I seriously doubt. Hindus are not heavily outnumbered and there is massive army presence.
Its a clear case of one upmanship.
There is a massive migration of Kashmiri Muslims from the valley to the Jammu region, this should be checked. Urgent need to make Jammu an independent territory.
Doda-Kistwar is 60% muslims and 40% Hindus. But these Hindus are Dogras and they will fight back and teach a lesson to these guys.
Didn't knew these riots were against Hindus. Total media silence ???
What these fanatics are told during their Namaz or they directly gets divine message from allah to burn Hindus ?
Hindus should unite against the persecution, RSS branch is needed there.
Media is Sickular did u forget that!
Singh ji sometimes I wonder in your quest to always give a politically correct answer you tend to overlook facts.
Had this been work of RSS this would have gone to OBAMA, Javed akthar would be giving "Bhashan" on NDTV, but because here its Hindus who are on the receiving end nobody cares.
I mean with all due respect be pragmatic.
If numbers really counted for so much, our history would be different. The problem with Hindus is that almost all of them are not religious zealots and hence not interested in waging religious wars even at the scale of a town riot .. whatever be their numbers.
Demographic shifts are happening in many places of India. But to talk about them would mean being called paranoid, conspiracy theorist and communal.
I mean we're pathologically passive, reactive people who don't learn from there mistakes and cry about them looking back at the history, instead of taking measures when some time was still in hand.
With the present GoI, I wouldn't count on the Army to overcome political pressure and take local measures on their own.
This is not the 18th century medieval India. Are Dogras politically or socially rallied behind a strong and functional organization of theirs? That is the problem, Hindus aren't organized. To me it seems to be a perennial ill trait that is worked around by us only once or twice in centuries.
My request to Robot-ji
Make Jammu & Ladakh as UT's atleast save these 2 regions.. Valley is already gone out of hand..
Where is Abdullah's, Mufti's & miss world Arundathi Roy , so called champions of human riots?.. Aren't Kishtwar Hindus belong to J&K?...
Separate names with a comma.
