    BUT ! You broke the rule in your title of the thread, CAN can't be CNA and YOU can't be YUO. The first and last letters cannot change, implying that 3 letter words cannot be modified.

    Also, I believe that another prerequisite is that you should already know the language well and be well-versed with all the basic words before this first and last character funda holds true...

    Because if I type down some gibberish in an unknown language such as German while holding the first and last characters true, then I doubt anybody would be able to recognize it except a German...
