Christopher Hitchens speaks on the origins of Islam and the Koran. It is very interesting. I've started it as a thread to give it wider currency. It is also inserted as a post in the thread on Islam as the world's fastest-dying religion. The video and audio of Hitchens' discourse on Islam is inserted below.

A rather interesting and a new version to comprehending the religion.

Like all views, it is for those who listen to the version, to interpret it.

Not everyone was as impressed as I was with Hitchens' discourse on the Koran, Mohammed, and Islam. I posted this exact same video of Hitchens' discoursing on the Koran, Mohammed, and Islam on a pro-Pakistan forum and it was left up for a several hours but apparently Youtube is blocked in Pakistan and the video couldn't be shown there and where it could be shown it caused some annoyance, let's say. Consequently the video and the thread were deleted by the forum management and I was sternly admonished by said management not to start threads on religion again. Life is like that, I guess.

Easy to guess which Paki forum it can be.

On that forum the ThinkTank,General/Mods/Admin etc are some Pak Army/ISI members or sympathizers who would not allow anything which is based on FACTS but rather conspiracy theories and anti-India propaganda.

You would be killed in Pakistan(by 7th century Blasphemy laws) if you say anything against their "religion" whether right or wrong.

Islam has a problem with criticism, even if the criticism is right and true. Actually, Hitchens speaks on this in the video, how Muslims and nonbelievers are not permitted to criticise Islam in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah, still can't find it. My webpage says that I "may not post new threads". It won't even allow me to quote your post without removing the URL you linked.

That is strange. I started an introduction thread and it was my first post or one of my first posts. Management might have to look into this. It could be a glitch in the system.

Dnt know, It was my assumption. Usually some forum boards used to have certain post threshhold. Thats how i arrived at it.
