Chinese internet retail giant Alibaba sold $3 billion goods in a day

Chinese internet retail giant Alibaba sold 3 billions goods in a day (11/11/2012).

A single Chinese e-business Giant, Alibaba, sold nearly 3 times more in a day than the highest record daily sale hold for the ENTIRE USA E-RETAIL MARKET PUT TOGETHER.

Too bad for many poor wishful guys here, there wont be any hard landing or crisis in China anytime soon.:cool2:

No wonder China has the world largest retail markets and real estate markets, and is the world largest consumption market for when it counts.

The sheer market size in China is several times larger than that of the US when you are talk about basically EVERY CATEGORY OF CONSUMPTIONS, including real estates, cars, domestic electrics, internet E-business and such.

ALL THESE ARE SEVERAL TIMES LARGER THAN THAT IN THE US.

But dont worry, the americans still hold world records of critical consumption spendings like these for lawyer consulting services, finanical fraud services and internet garbage companies.

The Chinese wont be able to catch up with the americans in these area anytime soon, so relax and have a good night.:cool2:

I assume blow up dolls were a big hit on singles day since there are fewer females in China, at 70% off I bet G90 got two.

BEIJING (AP) — Lei Shujie, a designer in Shanghai, piled up a wish list for Sunday, a quirky holiday dubbed "Singles Day" that has grown into China's — and possibly the world's — busiest online shopping day.

Clothes, a pillow, a cabinet to give a friend — Lei put off buying until Sunday, when retailers promised discounts of up to 70%. "The prices are irresistible," she said.
Singles Day was begun by Chinese college students in the 1990s as a version of Valentine's Day for people without romantic partners. The timing was based on the date Nov. 11, or "11.11" — four singles. Unattached young people would treat each other to dinner or give gifts to woo that special someone and end their single status.

That gift-giving helped to turn it into a major shopping event as sellers of everything from jewelry to TVs to cars saw a marketing opportunity and launched Singles Day sales.
