We are buying Javelins precisely for knocking out Chinese Tanks in Ladakh Sikkim
or any where else that they might show up on our border in case of a conflict on the LAC

Small Hunter killer teams should be armed with good Communication and optical equipment to spot
the tanks quickly and then knock them out with Javelins

On our side of the border Taking the Tanks BMPs and other heavy equipment though possible
is quite time consuming and prone to WEATHER induced disasters

The roads are shut down by bad weather the roads are washed off

SO Anti tank copters and Javelin armed soldiers are a must
but we need more of Nag and CLGM, since the Nag seeker is now made in India cost is going to come down, IA should have asked for Manpod version of the same. CLGM can be put to just about anything even Motor cycle with sidecar.

plus with CLGM non line of sight firing option it will be good idea to send these on motor cycle in remote and difficult part of India China border.

The PLA can bring in whatever armour they want in Tibet. Its not like there is a vast expanse where armd warfare can be conducted. The frontage available to these tanks for assault is not much. The mountains offer great vantage points for locating the good old 106 mm RCLs (yes...the Nag or Konkours would seem like over kill). Infantry AT weapons along with arty fire can chew up any tank charge in Ladhak.

instead of countering tank with tanks we have to think about anti tank weapons like nag and clgm missiles.
It becomes difficult to carry two kg load there and you are talking of that mammoth long and heavy Nag. That is why DRDO make systems which are impractical and not suited to user requirement.

Com on, see what he is saying..

NAMICA can play its role where Armour are located ' KARU ' and CLGM weight same as our LMG as a Whole system..

So Indian ability to fire a missile in Tibet should be subject to employability / deployablity of a BMP or NAMICA or some other vehicle ?? I would have appreciated had you name a heptr based missile system...

Theory ...theory and bloody theory...... typical DRDO saikh Chillies.....

Terrain..

And again terrain specific Weaponry..
You draw your conclusion from one picture? Either you are guessing, or you are very familiar with chinese terrain.
Consider the size of the country, it could be anywhere.

I see no reason why it has to be Tibet specific. We dont even KNOW what kind tank they are...

A light tank can be deployed in many places.

Are you sure those are not in Tibet? For any Indian it suffices that the tanks are in Tibet.

It may or may not be in Tibet. It is hard to judge by one picture alone. My point is that we dont know for sure.
When you claim something, in this case that this picture was taken in Tibet, you are the one who should provide the evidence, not the other way around.
You are free to disagree.

OK, even if those are not in Tibet, are those Chinese or not?
It does not take much time to bring those in huge numbers in Tibet.
India must take those tanks employability in Xinjiang and Tibet as military fact, is not it?

What is the chance of a tank battle in Tibet? If no, why does the PLA need to bring those in huge numbers then?
Like I said, it could be improved light tanks heading to somewhere else.
My point is that so far we dont know for sure where those tanks are headed.
Until we know for sure, it is wise to give it benefit of doubt.
