We Chinese have a saying, don't use your narrow mind to undersand broader hearts.
This has been a traditional between our two troops and two people, only family making jiaozi together.
we have the world most friendly border between us. don't assume your neighborhood is ours.

You assumed too much, what for? if there is any need for PLA to attack India, any air raid can be positionned anywhere from 300 KM away.
Gilgit Baltistan is just a chunk of no man's land, KalaKunlun highway runs through there, the two countries rely on that road to communicate, what ideas do you have on it? it is under Pakistani side of LOC anyways, what they do in their land should be their concern rather than others.

GB is Indian land. Period. Rocks or sand. It's under illegal occupation by Pakistan and now Chinese troops are in that region which is not acceptable to India.

Locals are most Islamic Tibetans, in the 8 century, Tang Dynasty already sent armys to conquor this part. General Gao Xianzhi ( a Korean Chinese) defeated the Boli Major and Boli Minor (nowadays Balistan) in 734 AD, at that time India is a geographic conception in the subcontinent located several hundreds miles away in south east.

India land? even British failed to rule it as British land, what entitle you call it Indian land? did you speak their language? are you the same kind of ethnicity? do you share their culture? are you of the same religion, their people have been living there long before the very term India is formed. and that make you to think it is Indian land? Even Pakistani central government give them high autonomous statuts. They are Islamic Tibetan tibes. Indian.... go conquor England, for me that is India.

Holding hands maybe a South Asian way, but Cinoti must know that one does not hold hands with those whose tradition is baccha bazi like the Pakistanis.

I am afraid the Chinese are rather hairless and smooth. Not a safe condition to hold the Pakistan hand.

I could be more explicit, but I am sure this is suffice to understand that holding hands maybe a South Asia custom, but it does not indicate the subtle nuances of certain type of people who have lived life under strict gender segregation which in no way suppresses their biological needs.

Pakistanis may not be copy cats, but they sure are masters at improvisation!

They might suddenly 'spring' to make the Spring Festival more meaningful and true to its name!

And having done so, the Spring Festival will be known as the Sprung Festival of Joyous Union!

    Jiaozi

Chinese dumplings (Jiaozi) are very popular during the Chinese New Year season

    Ingredients:

    Jiaozi dough:
    3 cups all-purpose flour
up to 1 1/4 cups cold water
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    Filling:
1 cup ground pork or beef
    1 TB soy sauce
    1 teaspoon salt
1 TB Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, or to taste
    3 TB sesame oil
    1/2 green onion, finely minced
1 1/2 cups finely shredded Napa cabbage
    4 tablespoons shredded bamboo shoots
2 slices fresh ginger, finely minced
1 clove garlic, peeled and finely minced
    Preparation:

Stir the salt into the flour. Slowly stir in the cold water, adding as much as is necessary to form a smooth dough. Don't add more water than is ncessary. Knead the dough into a smooth ball. Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

While the dough is resting, prepare the filling ingredients. Add the soy sauce, salt, rice wine and white pepper to the meat, stirring in only one direction. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring in the same direction, and mix well.

To make the dumpling dough: knead the dough until it forms a smooth ball. Divide the dough into 60 pieces. Roll each piece out into a circle about 3-inches in diameter.

Place a small portion (about 1 level tablespoon) of the filling into the middle of each wrapper. Wet the edges of the dumpling with water. Fold the dough over the filling into a half moon shape and pinch the edges to seal. Continue with the remainder of the dumplings.

To cook, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add half the dumplings, giving them a gentle stir so they don't stick together. Bring the water to a boil, and add 1/2 cup of cold water. Cover and repeat. When the dumplings come to a boil for a third time, they are ready. Drain and remove. If desired, they can be pan-fried at this point.

Hope you made sure it was not PORK even though you were in POK!
