There is no need for any joint training or experience.

The Chinese speak English and we don't speak Chinese and so we learn nothing and they learn a lot instead.

We even in 1962 with the WWII classics made the PLA to sweat. Dont always under estimate the enemies it is a biggest blunder that anyone can do.

Chinese made submarines make noises which will make opponent easy to detect your subs. I hear they made a secret tunnel where they can attack on opponent's navy, subs...huh!
Russians are far better than chinese in production of submarines....they make quiet and deadly subs.

Kargil was not a full scale war, so chinese have no business.

1971 there was a big brother who could have hitted the chinese head with their Tzar, so there was not in the picture

FYI, 2 heavily armed insurgents armed with an AK-47, multiple clips of 7.62mm bullets, dozens of grenades and large quantities of RDX killed dozens of unarmed civilians in CST, Mumbai on 26/11. When a single cop had the courage to fire, reload and fire 2 bullets at them the ISI/ PA Commando trained terrorists ran away without putting up a fight. This was using the same vintage gun you are talking about. They ended up getting caught by cops anyway.

The Police will not be fighting PLA. Even if they do, let's see how many PLA soldiers put up a fight.

BG any attack by PLA on India will be meet by not only IA but also by the entire population of India, for the simple reason you are attacking us and we will put each and every resource to defend it, if you take out nukes and pakistan from the war (hypothetically) we lack in cruise missile and 155mm artillery guns, rest we can match everything with china, not to forget 10 satellites in sky and local population of Tibet as supporter for India.

remember nukes are out of discussion of this thread therefore it wont be good idea to have regular warhead on MIRV and long range SLBM with MIRV, these all are deterrents for our chines friends.

Is it a big deal to shot the satellite which they know all about their trajectory?? Is it good as a dead one.

communication, navigation will be lost after our satellite is shot down by chinks

Tracking satellites is very very difficult. Too many factors involved and too many debris in space. But the possibility exists.

Indian side are not supported by 155/52cal but 122mm upgraded GRADS with range above 40-45km AND these are guided by WLR..

PLA cruise missile have a slight chance making to Main cities or Mil Bases coz of heavy built up of AAA ( zu-23 twin ) and Short range SAMs of IA..

kunal it wont be bad idea to have OFB 105 mm guns on BMP as displayed in defexpo 2010, as in mountain 17km is good distance to take out enemy at it can be moved easily though heavy weight transport aircrafts and can take mountain roads.

Plus BMP are easily available in India, 155mm is necessity and in next 10 years, hope situation will be better.

@Sayareakd, IA seems to phase out most 105mm except the ones are in high altitude ( Soon will be replaced by ULH )..

If Drdo can worked out with M46 than its Ok..

17km range arty can be easily targeted by 152/122mm on other side..
