BEIJING: In a rare public admission of Pakistani links to militancy in China's Muslim-majority Xinjiang province, the official media here today said the co-founder of al- Qaeda linked East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) was indoctrinated in a madarasa in that country. State-run China Daily today published confessions of Memetuhut Memetrozi, 41, co- founder of ETIM which is fighting for secession of Xinjiang from China. He is serving a life sentence for his involvement in terrorist attacks. According to confession statement released by Xinjiang No 1 Prison, Memetuhut was repatriated by Pakistan's intelligence service to China. Born in southern Xinjiang's Hotan prefecture to a farmers family, Memetuhut said he travelled around Central Asia pursuing his interest in Islam. At the end of 1992, he enrolled in an Arab-run school in Pakistan where he came into contact with young religious extremists. The extremists showed him books and videos about religious extremism. "Such thoughts in his head were like bugs that grew bigger and bigger until they took control of his mind and body," said Memetuhut, who began to promote jihad. He and other young Uygurs who came under the influence of religious extremism travelled to Afghanistan and joined a camp where they were trained to carry out terrorist attacks. After a year of training, Memetuhut returned to Pakistan and enrolled in International Islamic University's law department. While trying to get a master's degree in international relations and politics, he continued spreading religious extremism, the report said.

Now Chinese will build Military compounds similar to USA and hunt inside Pakistan.
They will sit on the back of Pakistani establishment in the name of terror and will dictate terms to Pakistan directly. Any way Pakistan wants money and they are more than willing to do terror hunt as long as some one provides the aid inside their country.

China wants to stretch its tentacles through FATA, Balouchistan and they are making a cause for it.

Don't be surprised if Pakistani establishment also sings in tune with Chinese for money they will get from China.

China deserves terrorism for supporting a terrorist state.

Fingers crossed things get worse and Chinese security forces get bogged down! Btw, who deals with terrorists in China, is it the PLA?

I wonder what our patriotic Chinese posters have to say now, after all that vociferous support that Pakistan was not involved..

Or is the China Daily and the CCP is talking through their hat?

Now that it is official, more of them will come from Pakistan to avenge what they will claim information obtained by torturing the chap.

    As has been vowed.

Well .. after reading what our DFI chinese members have to say about Bakistani terrorist activity in their own country. All i can say is that; it looks like they're pretty 'OK' with Bakistani trained [email protected] mujhahils stabbing, butchering chinese citizens in China, as long as Bakistan is playing it's part by (killing Indian citizens in hotels, railway stations, hospitals, Hindu Temples/ Hijacking aircrafts) supporting terrorism against India, i guess. Not bad China, not bad at all ! *slow clap* :notbad:

This is indeed a good strategy by which Pakistan has been milking the US for long now.
Step 1. Grow plenty of terror crop.
Step 2. Claim you have no direct control of it.
Step 3. Ask for aid/fee to cut down this crop.
Step 4. Make some noise and act partially, only to let the terror crop sprout back.
[Repeat step 3 onwards and keep repeating with as many fools as possible]

It is time to milk the Chinese now, at the cost of a few mujahideens that the establishment doesn't really hold dearer than cannon fodder.

    Regards,
    Virendra

Seems this time around two nations are available for them USA and China.

There will be battle for influence between the two nations inside Pakistan, China wants to control Trade corridor through Pakistan. Two elephants fight (USA and China) and ants will suffer.

    so...

    1. In 1992, this guy enrolled in Saudi-run madrassa in Pakistan
    2. Said person travels to Afghanistan 12 months later
    3. Enrolled in a Pakistani university; did not graduate
    4. Met ETIM partner
    5. Played hide and seek for 6 years, then was unceremoniously deported back to China by the ISI and given a life sentence while his partner was killed

I'm not sure why this means said individual is evidence Pakistan is supporting terrorism in China. If anything, the fact that he's sitting in a Chinese jail cell means Pakistan is helping China solve its terrorism problem.

And consider China's point of view here: there will always be radical muslims in the Af-Pak borderlands no matter which country runs it - India or Pakistan - since Wahhabist money, a surplus of young men, and a deficit of jobs will always exist there. But would India be more motivated to stop terrorists from attacking China than Pakistan? Probably not - India would love to use them to destabilize China, or extract much greater costs than Pakistan is currently asking for. And so, paradoxically, these madmen add to China's desire to engage with Pakistan, because China would much rather ask the ISI to stop separatists/jihadists than RAW.
