Wont be bad idea to show our reach up to South China sea. May be take some pics of the secret Chinese Nuke sub base and post it all over the net.

Not really a very smart idea IMHO. The last thing we need is for the Chinese to be made aware of our presence in their waters, by our actions which defy any logic.
In any case, the USN SSNs have been conducting shallow intrusions inside Chinese naval boundaries very regularly, and this has been going on for some time now.

listen mate the Indian Navy is the boss in the IOR and yes we do have that capability of tracking each and every chini sub entering the IOR!your PLAN isn't capable enough to challenge the might of the Indian Navy in the IOR.
Listen mate the indian navy is not the boss in the IOR, US navy is.
And no you don't have that capability in most part of IOR but a small part of it.
And yes PLAN isn't powerful enough to make a challenge in IOR. But if you can't challenge the top one in a remote area, why waste your time to think of challenge a second rate power in the same area? PLAN doesn't need to challenge Indian Navy, USN is keeping you in check.

its like our own backyard and even we have also started to patrol in the SCS region thanks to Vietnam.it isn't such a big deal because at the end of the day we neither the I.N. can challenge PLAN in the SCS region nor can the PLAN challenge the I.N. in the IOR.Period!
Well, your own backyard is still under the control of USN as much as USN's dominance in SCS. That is why we don't see Chinese whining Indian sheep's appearance in SCS.

That should be none of your business, your concern you should be looking how to counter both of these navies..

About IOR under USN or IN, Its about all free nations..

This is just the start.

Last time they did not have friendly naval bases in the IOR. Now they have one and potentially two.

This is the price of running the entire foreign policy on the basis of fear.

well i would prefer U.S.N. over PLAN anyday, anywhere and the U.S. is a strategic ally of India and both of us have the same objective as far as the IOR is concerned which is to check the activities of the PLAN in this region.so i am more than happy to see the U.S.N. patrolling the region along with the I.N. as both the countries are democracies and have a deep respect for each other!

Strategic ally? Why is your 'strategic ally' giving Pakistan weapons and mountain combat training and billions in military aid?

What goodies? P-8s that you *might* receive, tethering you to imported ASW equipment and avionics for the next 20 years, and a nuclear deal that bans you from nuclear testing?

And remember, the USN that patrols the IOR today to protect 'freedom of navigation' might be the USN that seeks to contain you tomorrow. Remember that the US has historically played balance-of-power in Asia, always seeking to keep the Asian land powers divided among themselves and putting pressure on whichever Asian land power has the most strength.

I did not want to share it but PLAN subs were teased by our Subs by sending just one pulse of SONAR to let them know that we are just behind them and everytime the chinese subs ran away back to Malacca st and vacated BOB.

According to the sources, Korean submarines Son Won II, Jeongji and Jung-geun were immobilised after the first submarine was badly damaged on the high seas. It has also been alleged that the submarines suffer noise problems. This is a vital shortcoming in a submarine which has to be as noiseless as possible to avoid detection. Or, as Navy officials say, they will be as easy to detect as some Chinese submarines that tried to recce the Bay of Bengal. "We picked them up each time they came," claimed a Navy official.

Oh, you mean how India has been doing oh-so-well with ToT regarding its other weapons systems? Would appreciate a few examples.

Chinese navy is metamorphosing itself since the 1996 stand off with USA.
Surprisingly even though missile boat have been useful in the 1971 war Operation Trident/Python Indian navy not developing any missile boat, but see Chinese what they are doing.

Houbei-class missile boat

Chinese have built over 80 Houbei-class missile boat each armed with 8 C-802 missile.
