I don't understand why the heck is everything future of Chinese completely stuffed in secrecy. Seriously! Whether it is JXX, aircraft carriers, future aircraft, tanks, guns or whatever, what do they achieve by secrecy of such projects? Every big player has carriers around the world in the prominent group of countries. What does CCP aim to attain with secrecy? That it can transform into a space ship and fly at the speed of light?

Same with JXX. It wouldn't cause the collapse of CCP if they showed a clear still picture--just 1 picture of the actual JXX rather than asking their 50-Cent propaganda party to make Photoshop images and keep everyone guessing.

Sun Tzu once said "国之利器，不可示之于人"。That means a nation should alway hide its powerful weapons and never show to others. I guess CCP is following his advice.

it is wise to build 3 ACs ,but it is stupid to build over 3 ACs.

Nuke subs, instead of AC, would be the decisive force in the coming sea wars among USA,Russia and CHina.

in such a war, AC would be just sitting ducks and be destroyed soon after war were to break out.

No ideal, nobody knows what it would look like until its on water or on CCTV news report. Let's wait to see. I guess the first generation in next 5 years will be 50K~60K tons conventional AC and second generation will go Nuclear in next 10 years, it would be more than 70K tons.

AC is not a sitting duck specially when talking abt PLAN, You have a edge in china sea and Pacific

You see your AC or CV are protected by other vessels same as IN & US do..

Every vessel have its duty, besides all these u have a silver bullet ( carrier killer ) or its just a myth

Under the cover of carrier killer your CV are safe with other vessels, also the Su-30-copycats do have a range of Su-30 ( 3000km ), further your navy already have 1500km air-launch Cruise missiles and can be mounted under Su-copycats ..

Oh really. AC WILL BE A SITTING DUCK. What the hell!
It purely displays your knowledge restricted to economics only.
AC is the most strongest and highly protected vessel in an entire fleet because of its rare no. and importance and with modern capabilities AC is as deadly as a combination of destroyer, and a cruiser.

About your nuke sub idea, let me tell you dear that in the sea warfare, navy usually do not have to tackle a face to face vessels fighting against each other. The entire fleet will pass below your nose unnoticed.(oceans are very vast you know;;D)

Keep this in mind that when an AC leaves the port then it automatically becomes the tactical naval base for the friendlies and also the center of command so surely it aint a sitting duck and with the frigates guarding it, there is no chance for a sub to bang an AC.
