Problems with
the Chengdu J-20,
China's first
fifth-generation
stealth fighter,
were recently
revealed in state
media for the
first time,
according to
Duowei News, an
outlet operated
by overseas
Chinese.
China Aviation
News reported
that at least two
malfunctions
were encountered
by Chengdu
Aircraft Industry
Group when the
first production
version of a J-20
with the serial
number 2011 was
taxiing on the
ground on Jan. 29.
First was a
system
breakdown, then
came an
unexpected
malfunction
when the
fighter's engine
of was
conducting test
run.
The plane finally
conducted its
first successful
test flight on
Mar. 2 and later
completed two
further test
flights. The
report said that
the stealth
fighter is likely
to enter service
with the People's
Liberation Army
Air Force in
small numbers in
2016.

china should steal more top secret info from the US's 5th gen fighters if they want this to work....lol
