Why don't you put Tibet one of Japan's allies? You don't need to wish you are wrong. You are wrong.
Nothing wrong to have superpower ambitions. It is healthy. However a country with fascist tendencies reminiscent of pre-1939 Germany is dangerous business.PRC leadership has chosen the path that will inevitably lead to the third world war.PRC with allies Pakistan, and North Korea against Japan allied with India,Vietnam etc.I hope I am wrong.

I am a believer thar everyone has the right to forge their own path. The Chinese have chosen single party rule and are doing quite well, with no major mass rebellion against the state. It is not our place to question their style of functioning or to impose our democracy on them, they will have to make that decision themselves,in time.

What is more troubling is that more than a significant number of blogs and posts by the chinese on online forums indicate a feeling of racial superiority embedded within them. It would be near impossible to judge or extrapolate from these if a significant number chinese people have these feelings in mainland china, particularly because the sample is not representive of the demography of China as a whole. Also what would be more troubling is if the chinese state is actively or even passively supporting these absurd notions, for these were the same thoughts brainwashed into the minds of the german youth in the years leading up to the WWII, with particularly horrendous consequences.
I cant tell if it is a real problem or a miniscule one magnified by the lens of the extremely polar lens of the World wide Net, but it would be wise for the CCP and the people to nip this problem in the bud

2012 is now a distant memory。

Here is my 2 cents for 2013:

(1)Launch
8-10 Type 056 corvettes or light FFGs,at LNS、WCS、HDS and HPS
2-3 Type 054A FFGs with minor improvements,1st of which already seen under construction at HDS
3-4 Type 052Ds,at JNS and DLS
2 circa 45000-tonne replenishment vessels,at HDS and GSI
X number of submarines, both conventional and nuclear,at JNS、WCS and HLDS
An assortment of smaller or auxiliary ships

(2)Construction
Type 056As/Bs
Type 054As
Type 052Ds
Type 055
LPD
LHD
CV
Subs
etc,etc..

well, many countries have superpower ambitions too,but only CHina has both ambitions and enough industry capacity, except USA>
That is correct.

China has immense ambition to become a superpower.

It still requires a Navy of superpower capability and has to work its ship building industry double quick time to catch up with the US.

Russia may turn out to be the dark horse.

Nice to know that you can talk to a cabbage. Must be a nice trait to have if I ever want to become like yo. :p

Russia's economy can not support its superpower ambition any more....
its defence industry is declining rapidly.

Frankly speaking, in a decade at most, Russia's defence industry will be caught up with by CHina completely.

Maybe in 3-5 years, we will see the crossing point, where China's defence industry supass Russia's....
the success of CHinese domestic engine, such as WS15,might be the milestone.

Nooooo, Russia as same as India, is a democracy, democracy guarantees stable development, with India's dedicated direct investment in Russia, esp. in Russian National Defense Industries, the latter will not only survive, but will prosper. Indian meanwhile can secure its vast options of arms sale suppliers and enjoy the cutting edge of weaponry forever.

Read your history. There is nothing worse than an ignorant jingo from the mainland. The thugs running PRC are behaving just like Hitler and Mussolini. We hear the war drums from Beijing unless it gets its way.Get out of those islands or else.Never mind our suppresion and genocide in the colonies of Tibet and East Turkestan.Dont forget the rape of Nanking but forget our rape of Tibet and East Turkestan.Dont interfere in our internal affairs.A familiar cry of the fascist usurper.Add to this the rapid rearming just as Nazi Germany was doing. The explosive mix of ultranationalism and socialism as practiced by CPC is eerily familiar. In the 1930s Germany it was called Der Nationalsozialismus. And as always money will buy the silence. No shortage of appeasers like sinophile Kevin Rudd and apologists like the smut peddler par excellence Rupert Murdoch.Sorry badguy2000,cinoti,Impulseblade etc - you are on the wrong side.History is on our side.Tibet shall be free.

I doubt it. Chinese economy is in debt above its head with no way out. The collapse of Wenzhou is a sign of things to come...

1/3rd production cut
double digit unemployment
50% crash of real estate
NPLs too numerous to count

That is where China is headed.

The fact you are still a net importer of weapons says you are not self sufficient enough to worry about being a Super Power.

Not really. Wenzhou's an isolated case driven by middle-market informal lending; NPL figures will likely vary wildly across different Chinese regions. On a macro level, debt-to-GDP, even if you add in public sector entities and local governments, is unlikely to go above 60%. Trust me on this. I worked for a while in the investment arm of a large Chinese bank, which means we got to see the real numbers.

The fact you are still a net importer of weapons says you are not self sufficient enough to worry about being a Super Power.
According to SIPRI's 2011 annual arms trade report, China exported over 1.9 billion USD of weapons while importing less than 700 million USD. Please tell me how this makes China a net importer of weapons.

Top List TIV Tables

If you can't, could you tell me how you can still call yourself a "Chini expert" when you can't even do basic arithmetic?

CCP debt is more like 160% of GDP. Every cent SOEs owe is public sector debt including Big Four bank liabilities. Trust me on this, I worked researching Chinese companies to find the REAL numbers.

Well, a) it doesn't say that and b) SIPRI is a joke. It records only 25% of French exports and even less of its imports.

If you can't, could you tell me how you can still call yourself a "Chini expert" when you can't even do basic arithmetic?
Because I use professional sources like TSAMTO, here are the real numbers.

Exports

Imports

In 2011 you imported $1.95 billion and exported $1.57 billion... that makes you a net importer. Do the math.

Wrong. You can't include private sector and quasi-private sector debt in this figure. Doing that lops about 90 to 100% off that figure.

Every cent SOEs owe is public sector debt including Big Four bank liabilities. Trust me on this, I worked researching Chinese companies to find the REAL numbers.
I'm curious to see your accounting here, because my numbers and yours really don't match up. If you're including all Chinese debt as responsibilities of the government and of the Party in particular, then your accounting methods are quite frankly insane. It would be like saying the debt of Ford and Morgan Stanley are now the debt of the US government, simply because those companies are American.

Well, a) it doesn't say that and b) SIPRI is a joke. It records only 25% of French exports and even less of its imports.
You're going to have to be more specific here. Why is SIPRI a joke? How do you know the higher French export figure and import figures are correct, and that the lower numbers by SIPRI are incorrect?

Because I use professional sources like TSAMTO, here are the real numbers.

Exports

Imports

What makes TSAMTO more valid than SIPRI? Just because you have to pay money for TSAMTO (aka CAWAT) does not mean their numbers are any more accurate.

Also, glad to know that both SIPRI and TSAMTO agree: if being a net arms importer means you can't be a superpower, then India is a long, long, loooong way off

That's prove you have little knowledge about China again.
WenZhou have many Indutries , they have many ways to make money,
Do you know 90%'s Chinese hair salon(FaLang) are owned by WenZhou.
these FaLang provide very good handjob.
India can not find a solution to prevent gang rape, pity country, they should know basis requiremenet can not be stopped, only can be redirect.
India should import WenZhou Falang instead of keep protesting and making stupid laws.
I agree Chinese stuff quality just OK but it should be more than enough for Indian men.

Dont know how you managed to get past elementry school, but 8,73 billion- 8,05 billion= 0,68 billion. The number is based on period 2004-2011 with your own souce.
That makes China a netto exporter. Nothing wrong with been a troll, but lacking basic math skills? tsk tsk. Arnand.
