China taps tech training to tackle labor market mismatch | Reuters

This is an excellent idea. Not everyone can be a financial analyst, IT consultant, marketing executive, or government official, so why not proffer pathways for young people to pick up blue-collar skills earlier on?

Given India's coming youth bulge, the GoI should look into this model as well.

    Yes a good step indeed.

But when it comes to bilateral trade China wants Indian IT experts to train chinese rather than allowing Indian companies to venture into china.
I hope India also follows the same and does the same with Chinese products.

Of course India can learn how to manufacture Chinese products - but can they learn to manufacture products cheaply and reliably? Robust manufacturing requires highways, electricity, container ports, and above all else, efficient or government-backed capital and labor markets.

Dude Chinese do have good product manufacturing sector but I am only talking about manufacturing products here in India not manufacturing Chinese products.

Yes product manufacturing needs good infrastructure, I hope this Govt. delivers what it has promised.
