China stays firm, but other countries may back India’s NSG bid

Can anybody spell out what India will miss by not being NSG membership high table. My suggestion is that if stakes (prestige) are not high then ignore it completely and then begin tightening screws on china trade.

Hence it is important to know that what will India miss if India ignores NSG membership.

How about India forms a new group of nuclear suppliers without China since China is withholding the working of the group. If the whole world is on one side and only China against, the we should be having a propaganda for a new group or forum for nuclear suppliers.

Impractical, but could be tried.

Do not under estimate what the Western country support you in public and express reservation in private. Some fall in that category. Moreover Turkey with pro Pakistani Islamic government, it will oppose in private.
