yes with AWACS even JF-17 is capable enough to take on us but thats not enough....su-30 with phalcon can fry them out....so pakistan needs to invest in something more lethal than trying to match us.....

Any country can buy AWACS, but one has to master its employment to be effective.

What is important to note is that the projected increase in unmanned aircraft by all the Services will create a growing problem with airspace control/deconfliction.

More importantly would be what is the array of equipment on board to ensure airspace control and deconfliction.

Kunal do you think this is an air refuelable AWAC like a E3-A or a Phalcon??( I doubt it is ) then practically; how effective will this be??

Making these Birds air refulable is no big deal, And those aircraft have turboprop engines will last longer but slower, Advantage of being equipped fixed refueling probe helps Longer range and Can act as a command center for fighters and ground units ( real time intel gathering and broadcast of enemy positions ) for longer time over battle field..

Kunal bhai even Phalcon has 500 kms range while SAAB has about 400 Kms . how can they have up to 600 Kms of range.

PD is outdated. USAF is using it just because Yankee's poor finance can not afford a prompt replacement.

Yankee's manufactureing capacity declines so much that its economy become hole. So, any industry product made by Yankee hole economy ,including weapons, become so expensive that even Yankees can not afford it.

Kunal it is difficult to believe this AWAC has greater range than Phalcon?? I would guess it may be closer to 250-300km max?? If the range was this high there would be no need to buy a lesser range Eeryie ??
