What I say is, you contain the Pakis, the situation of daily drama in Kashmir and Malda type situations will not happen any more. Because, it is not the crowd you have to control, it is the confidence and motivation they get by success of Pakistan which motivates them.

They don't recognize rights of emperor to rule, but then they claim territories as belonging to china just because once it was under imperial rule. Cholas & Pallavas did most of the work 1000 to 1500 years back. Increased trade to south-east asian countries, middle-eastern countries, even china. Our brahmans went to all these places and propagated dharma. Never invaded.

There are three problems with your suggestion.

1. India is not a continuous civilization. India did not come into existence until 1947. Thus, India cannot use China's argument of 7,000-year-old continuous civilization to claim territory under ancient rules.

2. India does not have a Chinese 1947 nine-dash-line map that demarcates its territorial claim.

3. India does not have Chinese military power to enforce its maritime territorial claim.

In conclusion, India cannot claim the Indian Ocean. Its situation is vastly different from China's.

Too much jingoism from China will only harm its interests.

Civilization and invasions are two different things, Chinese are increasingly becoming christian and adopting christian way as their life style these days.
