It is closer to Vietnam and neither the PRC nor the ROC nor the Qing or any dynasty that came before them ever owned it and fuck Vachina I don't want to see them gaining any ground as long as they are pseudo communist-capitalists. Manchuria is not China, Uyghurstan is not China, Tibet is not China, Inner Mongolia is not China, The South China Sea is the East Sea because that is the Vietnamese name for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

China's Han Dynasty was the first to discover, name, and claim the South China Sea islands and maritime territory. This happened two thousand years ago.

The country Vietnam did not exist two thousand years ago.

France ruled Vietnam until 1947. As a country, Vietnam has only been in existence for 70 years.

BBC says China is the "world's oldest continuous civilization" at 5,000-years-old

Since China is the "world's oldest continuous civilization," it means that every historic Chinese discovery and claim of land is still in force. This means Huangyan Island (aka Scarborough Shoal) has belonged to China since the year 1279 (after it was surveyed by Chinese scientist/astronomer Guo Shijing) during the Yuan Dynasty. Also, the Diaoyu Islands (aka Senkaku Islands) have belonged to China since the year 1403 during the Ming Dynasty.

No.

Inner Mongolia is still part of China. Outer Mongolia was part of China until 1945. At some point in the future, China will reattach Outer Mongolia back to China.

Manchuria is part of China.

China has remained China for 7,000 years.

China is a continuous 7,000-year-old civilization | US History.org

US History.org ("owned by the Independence Hall Association in Philadelphia, founded 1942") says China is a continuous 7,000-year-old civilization. This means China's discovery and claim of Huangyan Island (aka Scarborough Shoal) in the year 1279 by Chinese astronomer/scientist Guo Shijing is still in effect. Huangyan Island/Scarborough Shoal has been Chinese territory for 736 years.

Then what about Indian Ocean, should we clame it too

There are three problems with your suggestion.

1. India is not a continuous civilization. India did not come into existence until 1947. Thus, India cannot use China's argument of 7,000-year-old continuous civilization to claim territory under ancient rules.

2. India does not have a Chinese 1947 nine-dash-line map that demarcates its territorial claim.

3. India does not have Chinese military power to enforce its maritime territorial claim.

In conclusion, India cannot claim the Indian Ocean. Its situation is vastly different from China's.

Point No. 1 is not true. J-20 is in LSP. Still a lot of testing has to be done. Their are lot of talks on Internet that security breach against F-35 was to get data for J-20. If that is the case then even NATO will have access such information about J-20.

Point number 5 is total BS. Most of PRC's economy is based on exports to US and its allies. A war with US will mean no more exports. I highly doubt PRC will be able to sustain such war. Most high technological goods manufactured in PRC is done by of the western companies.

It's called South CHINA Sea for a reason.
What reason? Can you tell me? Did China ever rule there? On the other hand, Indians have had quite an influence in Vietnam and nearby area centuries back.

Then why not limit China's borders to Han Dynasty's empire? Don't go west more than the Hans went.
