Not necessary. Australia just banned Huwei from bidding.

The government does have restrictions on Chinese companies bidding in other sensitive projects.

TBH it's hard to get your new ports built if Chinese are prohibited from getting subcontracts. China's ZPMC alone holds 75% worldwide port machinery market share.

Does not mean squat. India is quite capable of scaling up on its own. In 5 years things will be vastly different. You're clearly overestimating the advantage of market share that you only currently hold
