    The satellite will, for the first time, carry out tests on laser communication link using quantum cryptography.

    中新社太原8月16日电 (记者 孙自法)中国空间技术研究院研究员、“海洋二号”卫星总设计师张庆君16日说,“海洋二号”卫星研制突破多项关键技术,将首次实现精密定轨,定轨精度达到厘米级,还将首次开展激光通信链路星地试验。

    中国首颗海洋动力环境监测卫星“海洋二号”当天早晨在太原卫星发射中心成功发射,张庆君告诉中新社记者,“海洋二号”填补了中国海洋动力环境监测卫星的空白,对厄尔尼诺现象监测研究、全球气候变化研究等具有重要意义。

    他介绍说,“海洋二号”卫星研制突破的关键技术主要包括:一是卫星集主动、被动遥感,高灵敏度接收、大功率发射,多种观测手段为一体,综合观测能力国际领先;二是突破大旋转部件动静平衡测量及控制技术;三是突破大扰动下高精度姿态控制技术;四是突破微波遥感电磁兼容系统设计分析控制及验证技术;五是突破卫星活动部件长寿命的设计验证技术;六是卫星关键部件的国产化率大幅提高,卫星控制系统平台产品国产化率超过99%。

    “海洋二号”卫星还是中国首个实施精密定轨的航天器,定轨精度优于10厘米,达到厘米级,这比以前至少提高两个量级。同时,“海洋二号”卫星将首次开展激光通信链路星地试验,激光通信作为新的通信手段,具有高速率、高保密、低失真等特点。

    Long March 5 prototype assembly

    This is the CZ5 (or Long March 5) heavy-lift rocket. It has a modular design.

    The Long March V prototype is being assembled.
