If Boxun.com is a North Carolina based forum, then could the so called Jasmine Revolution in China be a sponsored one? If Boxun leading figures are veterans of Chinese pro-democracy movements going back to the anti-Gang of Four demonstrations in Tiananmen Square in 1976, the Democracy Wall Movement of 1978, and the protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989. and if this is the same coalition that helped initiate the Charter 08 effort three years ago that resulted in the imprisonment of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo, then it is obvious that they are no friend of the CCP. Let us see it from the CCP's point of view. It is obvious that if a foreign power wishes to destabilise a country, that country will take all measures to ensure that the foreign inspired revolution or rebellion is curbed. If the rebellion has chances of growing, then it is also obvious that heavy and high-handed actions have to be taken to nip it in the bud before it becomes a prairie fire. Apparently, the Boxun group are well organised and are using the cyberspace deftly and have also adept in using Mao's guerilla tactics to their advantage. Be that as it may, is China wrong to take necessary action, even if high-handed to ensure that the stability of their country is not disturbed by dissenting Chinese operation from abroad? And, are the dissenting Chinese abroad wrong in wanting to promote their agenda to topple the CCP?
